🏃♂️🏃♀️ On the early morning of October 25, 2025, DMPI Bugo Cannery proudly launched its Centennial Kick-Off Celebration with a vibrant 5K Fun Run! With 1,021 registered participants, over 400 runners hit the road despite operational schedules — a true testament to our team’s spirit and commitment.
Participants wore jerseys in red, green, and gold — proudly representing the iconic Del Monte colors and adding a festive splash to the event. ❤️💚💛
To ensure everyone’s health and safety, all runners underwent and passed blood pressure checks before joining the race. The first 100 finishers were rewarded with a Del Monte gift bag and ₱100 cash — a small token of appreciation for their energy and enthusiasm!
🏅 Special recognition was also given to the top 3 male and female finishers, who each received cash prizes for their outstanding performance — a celebration of both speed and spirit!
🎉 The celebration didn’t stop there. The morning continued with exciting outdoor activities including a men's basketball championship game, dart tournament, Zumba marathon, "Maria Went to Town," and balloon popping — turning the grounds into a festival of fun and camaraderie.
We were honored by the presence of Ms. Lesley de Venecia, Bugo Manufacturing Head, along with Department Heads and Bugo HR Head Ms. Eileen Gulle and HR Manager Atty. Urchielyn Basalio, who showed their full support to the runners and participating teams. Their presence added warmth and encouragement to what was already an unforgettable day.
