Aligned with the celebration of World Environment Day, the City Government of Cabuyao, under the leadership of Mayor Dennis Felipe C. Hain, through the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) headed by Engr. Nolo B. Punongbayan, and the Cabuyao River Protection Advocates (CaRPA) led by President Rommel L. Tiburcio, in collaboration with the City Schools Division of Cabuyao under the leadership of Schools Division Superintendent Christopher R. Diaz, CESO V, through the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), headed by OIC-Chief Jose Charlie S. This activity brought together Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O) officers and advisers from the 11 public secondary schools of Cabuyao City, alongside government agencies, PTA officers, community leaders, environmental advocates, and private sector partners in a shared commitment to environmental protection and sustainable development.

More than an environmental activity, the event served as a platform for empowering young people to become active stewards of the environment, strengthening partnerships among stakeholders, and fostering a collective sense of responsibility for the protection of our natural resources.
