[STATEMENT OF SUPPORT FOR WU-P SSC INDEPENDENT]

Year after year, student leaders around Wesleyan University-Philippines strive to fight for students' rights and welfare. We relentlessly clamor for pro-student services and demand maximum accountability from our university administrations.

Despite the differences in the institutions we hail from, we are all working towards a common goal: 𝐚 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐟𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨-𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬.

Katotohanan sa paglilingkod at Katapatan sa mga pinaglilingkuran ang kinakailangan ng bayang uhaw sa pag-unlad at progreso. Sa sistematikong hakbang ng pag-unlad, nararapat na magkaroon ng isang lider na siyang magsisilbing tulay sa pagbabago at boses para sa mga hinaing ng masa.

Si Matthew Wagan Celestino ay kinikilala at binibigyan nang lubos na suporta si Justine Tabor sa paggapi sa mga taong dumungis sa depinisyon ng isang marangal at tapat na lider ng bayan. Panahon na upang bumangon sa mahimbing na pagkatulog ng nakaraang kasinungalingan. Kilatisin natin kung sino ang tapat at totoong naglilingkod. Si Justine Tabor ang siyang magiging Tapat na kaalyado at Totoong naghahangad ng lubusang pagbabago. Siya ang magtuturo na: Kapag mulat na ang tao sa kamalian, isang kasalanan na ang pumikit at magmaang-maangan kung kaya't atin nang simulan, katotohanang nararapat sa kabataan at katapatan para sa bayan sa kabuuan.

It cannot be denied that the demand for student leadership that displays maximum accountability alongside the clamoring for pro-student services has increased drastically within the past months. With the ratification of national policies that seemingly cast aside the wellbeing of students around the country, it is now more than ever that we are in need of Student Councils which strive to fight for the rights and the welfare of its students.
