A Proud NEHS–SHS Monday Flag Raising Ceremony Honoring Our Newly Recognized BSP Eagle Scouts, Ian Rocero and Ekeisha Deguzman

The Nueva Ecija High School-Senior High School, joyfully welcomed the new week with a dignified and heart warming Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held in honor of our newly recognized Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) Eagle Scouts Ian Rocero and Ekeisha Deguzman. This special gathering served as a momentous celebration of leadership, perseverance, and excellence, highlighting the highest rank attainable within the Scouting movement.

The ceremony commenced with the solemn and patriotic hoisting of the Philippine flag, accompanied by the singing of the National Anthem, instilling a sense of unity and pride among students, faculty, and guests. School administrators and Scout leaders delivered inspiring messages recognizing the remarkable dedication and outstanding achievements of the two awardees. Their journey to the Eagle Scout rankba distinction reserved for exemplary Scouts who embody the core values of service, integrity, and commitment was honored with great respect and admiration.

As their names were formally acknowledged before the entire institution, Ian Rocero and Ekeisha Deguzman stood as symbols of youth leadership at its finest, their accomplishments serving as motivation for all Scouts and students to strive for excellence in both character and academic pursuits. The ceremony reflected the school’s continuous support toward programs that nurture responsible, community-driven, and service-oriented young leaders.

Happy Girl Scouts of the Philippines GSP Month, NEHS-SHS! 💚💛
As part of this year’s celebration, the NEHS-SHS Girl Scouts, in collaboration with the Boy Scouts of the Philippines proudly join hands to honor the values of scouting—leadership, service, and unity.

To mark this special occasion, the GSP took the lead in today’s flag-raising ceremony, showcasing the spirit of patriotism, responsibility, and dedication that every scout upholds. This meaningful activity highlights the important role of both the GSP and BSP in shaping students to become disciplined, service-oriented, and nation-loving individuals.

As we continue to celebrate GSP Month, may this inspire us all—students, teachers, and fellow scouts—to live out the true essence of scouting: to serve others, to lead with courage, and to be prepared for every challenge.

This day commemorates the bravery and sacrifices of our national heroes, who shaped our freedom and our nation’s history. But some heroes seek no praises—the unsung modern heroes in the background: teachers, doctors, soldiers, farmers, OFWs, and others who continue to serve the public—the public servants.

May their legacy and ideals seep deeper into our hearts and inspire us, to fight injustice, and stand for what’s right. For our National heroes- historical and modern. May we embody the same spirit of resilience, integrity, and service.
