Together with the Cabanatuan CDRRMO, Legion PH Medics ensured the availability of medical personnel for the responding fire units.

Legion PH National President and CEO John Sumaway paid a courtesy visit to the Municipality of Rizal. Representing on behalf of Mayor Trina Andres is Vice Mayor Rafaelito V. Andres. Together with the Legion PH President is National Vice President Sherylou Lopez, National Treasurer Francis Malgapo, and National Operations Officer Charles Caguingin.

Areas of partnership were discuss during the meeting and how Legion PH can aid in its DRRM activities, and youth activities.

Legion PH National President and CEO John Sumaway, conducted a courtesy visit to the City Mayor of Palayan City, Hon Viandrei Nicole J. Cuevas.

The Palayan City Mayor and the Legion PH President exchanged gratitude in its continued partnership towards a much resilient and sustainable community for all. During the meeting, the two also discussed multiple areas of partnership that can benefit the DRRM Activities and Youth Activities of the city.

Legion PH National President and CEO, John Sumaway conducted a courtesy visit to Bongabon Municipal Mayor, Ricardo I. Padilla, together with Bongabon MDRRMO Head, John Ryan Ong.

Mayor Padilla expressed his gratitude for the continued support provided by Legion PH to the DRRM operations and activities of the municipality. Likewise, Legion PH President Sumaway also expressed his gratitude for the warm accommodation and help provided by the Bongabon LGU to its humanitarian operations throughout the province.

Legion PH Medics deployed during the Run for a cause project of NE Pacific Mall entitled "Run Rally Repeat" last April 18, 2026.

Nurses, EMTs, and EMRs ensured the safety of the runners during the event, together with the Cabanatuan City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council.

In our initiative to further strengthen the capabilities of Legion PH in handling emergencies and disasters. Legion PH National President John Sumaway, AEMT, attended the 3 Day Emergency Operations Center Training Course of the Office of the Civil Defense Region 3, in The Glory Hotel, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, April 14-16, 2026.

Essential information and skills were taught regarding the proper management of an Emergency Operations Center during an emergency or disaster.

Nat. President John Sumaway successfully graduated this course provided by the OCD and is honored for the endorsement of this training by the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Nueva Ecija.

Legion PH Disaster and Emergency Response Management Office rendered assistance during the conduct of a evacuation drill at Our Lady of Fatima University-Nueva Ecija in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija.

Together with the BFP-Cabanatuan City Fire Station Engine 5 Crew. The evacuation drill of the campus was assessed to see how the community will react in case of an emergency.

Legion PH is honored to have been invited to the Monthly Meeting of the Association of Disaster Resilience Officers of Nueva Ecija Inc held this month of April 2026 in NEECO II Talavera, Nueva Ecija.

Legion PH National President John Sumaway presented to the LDRRM Officers and Heads the organization and its current and future operations and projects.

Also present in the meeting is Office of the Civil Defense OIC- Regional Director Shelby A. Ruiz, the chairperson of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, and the Municipality of Talavera Local Chief Executive, Hon. Aries Vincent Patrick Gaboy Lim.

Together with the Legion PH National President is DERM Deputy Director Marius Aspiras, and National Operations Head Charles Caguingin.

Legion PH National Officers got a chance to meet with the Office of the Civil Defense Region 3 Director-OIC Shelby A. Ruiz during the ADRONE Inc Monthly meeting held in Talavera, Nueva Ecija.

Regional Director Shelby Ruiz is the Chairperson of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council of Central Luzon of the Office of the Civil Defense, under the Department of Defense.

Legion PH President and the Regional Director shortly conversed regarding strengthening the humanitarian response and capabilities of Legion PH throughout the region.
