𝙆𝙖𝙥𝙞𝙩-𝙗𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙜 𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙤 𝙨𝙖 𝘼𝙨𝙚𝙣𝙨𝙤 𝙖𝙩 𝙂𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 (𝙆𝘼𝘽𝙄𝘼𝙂) 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 expresses their heartfelt thanks to CANVAS - Center for Art, New Ventures & Sustainable Development for providing 153 copies of the book entitled, 𝙄 𝙖𝙢 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚. 🌦📚The books were distributed to the schoolchildren of Villa Labrador Elementary School last September 24, 2025. Hardbound and softbound copies of other books from CANVAS were also turned over to the school to be shared by the schoolchildren.

As KABIAG’s partner in this book-giving project, we at OPI also send our deepest gratitude to CANVAS. We are honored to be part of your 1 Million Books for 1 Million Filipino Children Campaign. Through your campaign, we were also able to provide hundreds of kids with books of excellent physical quality and wonderful, child-friendly, and age-appropriate lessons. Maraming salamat po! 🙌🫶

𝑲𝒂𝒑𝒊𝒕-𝒃𝒊𝒔𝒊𝒈 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑲𝒂𝒔𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒂𝒏 𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒂𝒈𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒈 (𝑲𝑨𝑺𝑨𝑮) 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒏 𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒂 𝒔𝒂 𝑷𝒂𝒈𝒔𝒖𝒍𝒐𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒕 𝑷𝒂𝒈-𝒖𝒏𝒍𝒂𝒅 𝒏𝒈 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒏 (𝑺𝑷𝑷𝑪) 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒐𝒄𝒊𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏, OPI’s partner community-based organizations in Milagros, Masbate, held a series of organizational activities last September 16-22, 2025. The program included discussions and presentations of leadership assessment, wrapping-up the accomplishments of five years of issue development, project development and organizational development and finally, the culminating or graduation program. ✨🎓

We extend our heartfelt 🅲🅾🅽🅶🆁🅰🆃🆄🅻🅰🆃🅸🅾🅽🆂 to everyone who made the work in Milagros, Masbate a success. We wish KASAG and SPPC more blessings and accomplishments in the years to come! 🤝👏🧡

Outreach Philippines, Inc (OPI) received a Plaque of Appreciation from Wesleyan External Systems, Connections, Opportunities, and Partnerships (WESCOP) of Wesleyan University-Philippines last September 10, 2025. The awarding was part of the University’s 80th Founding Anniversary and in recognition of WESCOP’s partner communities and institutions. Twelve partners from local government units, foundations and community-based organizations were also honored in a program that was held at the university auditorium. 🎉🧡💚

OPI has a long history of partnership with WESCOP since the time when it was known as Wesleyan Community Outreach Program Office. The partnership raised the bar when the two institutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding that allowed for a stronger tie-up and wider reach through community development processes and projects. OPI’s community-based organizations called, KAISA Association and ANGAT Santa Monica Association became WESCOP’s local community partners in Zaragosa and Aliaga, Nueva Ecija, respectively. The partnerships became valuable paths to access numerous blessings such as school supplies, (Back to School or BTS project), chairs and whiteboard, water pumps, and provision of livelihood starter kits (capital). Seminars, medical missions, year-end celebrations and children’s activities were also organized by WESCOP for both organizations. 🤝

OPI is truly honored with this recognition. We congratulate Wesleyan University-Philippines on their eight decades of service! 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙩, 𝙒𝙚𝙨𝙡𝙚𝙮𝙖𝙣! 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙩 𝙒𝙀𝙎𝘾𝙊𝙋! 🙏🙌

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙢. 𝘼𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙢 𝙞𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨! ✨

After rescheduling twice due to typhoons that affected Nueva Ecija, the Outreach Program of 𝘼𝘽𝙀 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙀𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙤𝙢𝙞𝙘𝙨 for 𝙆𝘼𝘽𝙄𝘼𝙂 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 was finally implemented in Brgy. Villa Labrador, Rizal, Nueva Ecija last August 1, 2025. 🧡💙

Faculty members, staff and students, led by Ms. Mara Lising, Dean of ABE, travelled from Cabanatuan City to Rizal and held games and feeding program for 57 children. They also conducted two training sessions for KABIAG Association members, and these were on Financial Literacy and Dishwashing Liquid-making. Livelihood starter packs were also distributed to a total of 54 beneficiaries from the same association. 🥣👩‍🏫

𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙨 𝙋𝙎𝘽𝘼! 🎉🎓

Five years ago was a time that brought many anxieties and uncertainties around the globe. It was the time of the COVID 19 pandemic that placed everyone on lockdown. That unforgettable situation greatly affected everyone and doubly so, the people who lived in the margins, like the residents of Sitio Bimmangon, a sitio of Brgy. Quirino, Cordon, Isabela.

Now, five years later, the seed of an organization that was planted in the times of uncertainties, grew, bloomed and flourished. 𝙋𝙖𝙜-𝙖𝙨𝙖 𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤 𝘽𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙤𝙣 𝘼𝙨𝙨𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 (𝙋𝙎𝘽𝘼) rose and successfully became the hope that it aimed to be for the rural and marginalized community of 420 households.

PSBA, which is now 152 members strong, have reached the ultimate milestone in its close partnership with Outreach Philippines, Inc. It has reached the Graduation Phase which means that they as organization will now continue with their issue resolution, project implementation and organizational development activities without the same level of assistance from OPI as before. To mark this very important event, PSBA held their graduation and turn-over ceremony last June 25, 2025. The event was attended by leaders and members of PSBA, officials of the barangay council, staff of Outreach Philippines, Inc. (OPI) and representatives of Outreach International, namely Elene Cloete, the Field Operations Manager for the Philippines and Barbara Toizer, Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning Manager.
