RBASASHS learners took part in the Youth on Wheels program of the Land Transportation Office – Cabagan Extension Office, joining an activity centered on road safety, responsible driving, and youth awareness on transportation rules.

The program served as an opportunity for students to gain practical knowledge on traffic discipline and the role of young people in promoting safer roads and more informed communities.

𝙍𝘽𝘼𝙎𝘼𝙎𝙃𝙎 𝙎𝙎𝙇𝙂 𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨 joined the 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙞𝙙 𝘾𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙫𝙖𝙣 held at the Cabagan Convention Center, an initiative of the Local Government Unit of Cabagan through the Municipal Legal Office in partnership with the University of Cagayan Valley–College of Law.

Through the activity, the officers took part in a meaningful program aimed at promoting 𝙡𝙚𝙜𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙩𝙤 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚, and 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 among Cabagueños.

Earlier this Monday morning, the SSLG Officers of Rodolfo B. Albano Stand Alone Senior High School took part in Oplan Galugad, an early morning inspection aimed at ensuring a safe, secure, and orderly school environment.

In light of recent incidents reported in other schools, the activity included the inspection of learners' bags for prohibited items, such as vapes and bladed objects, in accordance with school policies. Together, we remain committed to keeping our campus safe for everyone.

Earlier today, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers of Rodolfo B. Albano Stand Alone Senior High School met with School Principal Ma'am Judy B. Tarun to discuss important matters concerning school security, cleanliness, and student attendance.

The meeting served as an avenue to strengthen collaboration between the school administration and student leaders in promoting a safe, clean, and disciplined learning environment. Through open communication and shared responsibility, the SSLG reaffirmed its commitment to leading initiatives that encourage accountability, active participation, and student welfare.

June 26, 2026 | Rodolfo B. Albano Stand Alone Senior High School (RBASASHS) once again showcased excellence and environmental advocacy as its representatives earned top recognitions during the Trashionista Show 2026 held at the JTA Gymnasium.

Representing the school, Grade 12 STEM student Karl Allen Marquez and Grade 11 STEM student Angel Valencia demonstrated creativity and sustainability through eco-fashion designs crafted from recycled materials, proving that waste can be transformed into meaningful works of art.

Their impressive performances garnered the following awards:

• 2nd Runner-Up

The participants further stood out during the question-and-answer portion, where they underscored the importance of environmental awareness and responsible action.

“I believe if we try to take an action now and try to learn on what's happening to our environment we can give the future generations a healthy, sustainable environment,” Marquez shared.

Meanwhile, Valencia emphasized individual responsibility, stating, “The choices we make today will shape a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future for the next generation.”

Coached by Sir Garry Perez and supported by School Principal Judy B. Tarun, the young advocates proudly represented RBASASHS and highlighted the role of youth in promoting sustainability through creativity and innovation.

The event, led by Hon. Mayor Mila T. Albano-Mamauag and municipal officials, served as a platform for environmental awareness, encouraging participants to champion sustainable practices through fashion and advocacy.

RBASASHS extends its warmest congratulations to Karl Allen Marquez and Angel Valencia for bringing pride and honor to the school community through their remarkable achievement.

Rodolfo B. Albano Stand-Alone Senior High School, through the leadership of School Principal, Ma'am Judy B. Tarun, conducted the Seminar-Workshop on Strengthening Research Skills and Competencies of Grade 12 Students on June 26, 2026, at the school's Conference Hall.

The activity aimed to strengthen the research knowledge and skills of Grade 12 learners in preparation for the completion of their research requirements. It also provided an opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of the different parts of a research paper and the proper application of research methods.

The seminar featured Sir Ryan M. Sumalde and Ma'am Maria Perpetua Bautista, who discussed Chapter 1: Introduction and Chapter 2: Review of Related Literature. Meanwhile, Sir Garry G. Perez and Ma'am Aireen Joyce C. Mendoza discussed Chapter 3: Methodology, with emphasis on Experimental and Non-Experimental Research.

The activity forms part of the school's continuing efforts to improve learners' research competencies and support the effective implementation of the Senior High School curriculum.

The Rodolfo B. Albano Stand-Alone Senior High School community conducted its First Flag Retreat Ceremony at 4:30 PM, bringing together learners, teaching personnel, and non-teaching staff in a solemn observance of respect for the Philippine Flag.

The activity served as a meaningful conclusion to the week's academic and co-curricular engagements, providing an opportunity for the school community to reflect on the lessons learned and accomplishments achieved throughout the week. It also reinforced the values of patriotism, discipline, and responsibility among learners and personnel.

As the ceremony concluded, the RBASASHS community reaffirmed its commitment to upholding respect for national symbols and fostering a culture of excellence, service, and responsible citizenship among learners.
