Five campus journalists from Rodolfo B. Albano Stand Alone Senior High School (RBASASHS) have qualified for the 2025 Division Schools Press Conference Finals, which will be held on November 7-9 in Reina Mercedes.

Their success marks another proud moment for RBASASHS as the school continues to produce talented and passionate young journalists.

October 11–12, 2025 – Rodolfo B. Albano Stand-Alone Senior High School

The Rodolfo B. Albano Stand-Alone Senior High School successfully conducted its Joint School-Based Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP) and Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP) Encampment on October 11–12, 2025. The two-day event aimed to promote leadership, teamwork, discipline, and camaraderie among student-scouts.

The activity was made possible through the leadership of Ma’am Judy B. Tarun, Institutional Head, and the guidance of Sir Nor Mar L. Cabaddu and Sir Jonathan Z. Marayag, Institutional Scouting Advisors. The event also drew strong support from the faculty members, parents, and the student-scouts who actively participated in various scouting activities and challenges.

Throughout the encampment, scouts engaged in team-building exercises, skills demonstrations, camp management, and values-oriented sessions designed to strengthen character and foster community spirit.

The successful conduct of the event highlights the school’s continuous commitment to developing responsible, service-oriented, and patriotic youth through the Scouting movement.

The 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙜𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙨 was a resounding success, held at the Cabagan Convention Center. This event brought together student leaders from elementary and secondary schools across the municipality, including representatives from Rodolfo B. Albano Stand-Alone Senior High School, SSLG Officers and other organizations.

The congress was guided by the theme "𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝙗𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩 𝙛𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙬, 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬, 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙣 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬. 𝙏𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙬𝙚 𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙚, 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙣 𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙, 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙗𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙙 𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙!" This theme underscored the importance of empowering young leaders to drive positive change in their communities.

The congress covered a range of crucial topics, including the Rights of the Child, Child Participation in Governance, Roles of Children in Disaster Risk Reduction and Management, Solid Waste Management, Sustainable Development Goals, Systems Thinking, and Futures Thinking. These discussions equipped the young participants with valuable insights and skills to make a meaningful impact.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to PA Topi Mamauag, Mayor Mila A. Mamauag, and the members of the Local Government Unit for their unwavering support in empowering the children of Cabagan towards a sustainable future.

Rodolfo B. Albano Stand-Alone Senior High School recently hosted a Symposium on 𝘿𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙠 𝙍𝙚𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙝 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, led by SSLG Adviser Nor Mar Cabaddu and SSLG Officers, under the guidance and support of our school principal, Ma'am Judy B. Tarun. The event brought together student leaders to discuss crucial topics related to disaster preparedness and health awareness. The symposium featured four resource speakers from the Rural Health Unit and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.

Ma'am Liezel T. Pamittan, RN, discussed hazards and disasters, emphasizing the critical roles of youth in emergencies and disaster management. She also shed light on HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) and STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections), raising awareness about these significant health concerns.

Ma'am Karmina Ballesteros, a nurse from RHU, focused on teenage pregnancy, highlighting its implications and the importance of education and support for young individuals.

Sir Jestoni Valoria, also a nurse from RHU, presented on the effects of smoking and va**ng, citing statistics that link to***co use to three major causes of death: heart attack, stroke, and cancer. His talk underscored the importance of avoiding these habits for a healthier future.

Lastly, Sir Bryan P. Sarangay discussed "The Youth in Nation Building" under Republic Act 8044, emphasizing the role of young people in contributing to the country's development. He also touched on environmental conservation, stressing the importance of proper waste segregation for a sustainable future.

This symposium provided student leaders with valuable insights and knowledge, empowering them to make informed decisions and take action in their communities. The success of this event was made possible by the unwavering support and guidance of Ma'am Judy B. Tarun, whose leadership continues to inspire and empower our students to excel in all endeavors.

Rodolfo B. Albano Stand-Alone Senior High School, through the coordination of the SSLG Officers, in partnership with the PNP Cabagan, Isabela, successfully conducted a symposium on Drug Education and Anti-Bullying. The activity highlighted the provisions of Republic Act 10627, also known as the Anti-Bullying Act of 2013, to raise students’ awareness on their rights and responsibilities in maintaining a safe and respectful school environment. The Drug Education segment covered the harmful contents of ci******es, shabu, and similar substances. Emphasizing their detrimental effects on well-being, and future. This initiative reflects the school’s commitment to fostering informed, and resilient young learners.

Despite all of these, individuals are helping each other, donating clothes, delivering food and water, and providing medical assistance. Colorful hands means cooperation, while locked hands means solidarity. Rescue personnel and volunteers prove that any citizen can do something. The poster embodies the theme, "Kumikilos: Kayang Umaksyon ng Mamamayan na Isabuhay ang Kahandaan ng Bawat Isa Para Maging Ligtas sa Oras ng Sakuna," by advocating preparedness, empathy, and people power in responding to any calamity.
