2 Kings 4:2-7
2 Elisha replied to her, “How can I help you? Tell me, what do you have in your house?”

“Your servant has nothing there at all,” she said, “except a small jar of olive oil.”

3 Elisha said, “Go around and ask all your neighbors for empty jars. Don’t ask for just a few.

4 Then go inside and shut the door behind you and your sons. Pour oil into all the jars, and as each is filled, put it to one side.”

5 She left him and shut the door behind her and her sons. They brought the jars to her and she kept pouring.

6 When all the jars were full, she said to her son, “Bring me another one.”

But he replied, “There is not a jar left.” Then the oil stopped flowing.

7 She went and told the man of God, and he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”

A Must Worth Reading

This widow was in a desperate situation, she had a legacy of faith and faithfulness to God in her family. She had a basis and grounds for her appeal. And of course the basis for our appeal as believers is our covenant relationship with God through Jesus Christ, nothing else qualifies us for God’s blessing than the shed blood of Christ.

God began to multiply that oil to fill every jar, God is not a God of addition or subtraction, He is a God of multiplication. He fills to the extent of our capacity and our faith many times determines our capacity to receive from God.

Some of us through past disappointments and hurt, we close ourselves off to receiving from God.

Today, I want to encourage you to open up again, trust God again and receive from God like never before. Be
encouraged, the jar of oil will never run out.

Of course when God was finished doing this miracle, the widow's sons were free from the prospect of slavery, her debts were paid and there was plenty for her and her sons to live on in the future.

God is the river that never runs dry, He is the oil that never runs out.

Today, you may be faced with similar difficult and extreme circumstances. I want to encourage you to place your little bit of faith and sustenance into the hands of Jesus, you will find the jar of oil will never run out.

1 John 5:4
"For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith."

As believers, we're not just passive observers of the world; we're overcomers! We've been given the power to overcome the world's challenges, temptations, and uncertainties through our faith in Jesus Christ.

What does it mean to overcome the world?

- It means rising above the world's systems and values that oppose God's truth (John 16:33).

- It means standing firm in the face of trials, tribulations, and persecution (James 1:2-4).

- It means living a life that reflects God's character, even when the world around us seems to be against it (1 Peter 2:9).

How do we overcome the world?

- Through our faith in Jesus Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33).

- By trusting in God's power and promises, rather than relying on our own strength (2 Timothy 1:7).

- By living in obedience to God's Word, and allowing His Spirit to guide us (John 15:4-5).

The victory is already won!

Our faith is the victory that has overcome the world. We've been given the assurance that we are more than conquerors through Christ (Romans 8:37). We can stand firm in this truth, even in the midst of uncertainty and adversity.

Are you facing a challenge that seems insurmountable? Remember that your faith is the victory!

Are you struggling with doubt or fear? Focus on God's promises and trust in His power.

Are you living for Jesus, but facing opposition from the world? Stand firm in your faith, and remember that you've been born of God!

2 Chronicles 15:7
7 But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”

Children of God,

Every sacrifice you make for God.
Every act of obedience,
Every quiet sacrifice,
Every service,
Every giving,
Every seed you have sown in tears, even your faithfulness is seen by God.
God has seen it.

Even when others don’t notice, God does. And He is a faithful rewarder.

Nothing you do for the Lord is ever wasted. Even when it feels unnoticed by people, it is fully recorded by heaven.

God is too faithful to ignore the labor of your hands and the sincerity of your heart.

He is a Rewarder, and He delights in blessing those who honour Him.

Hebrews 6:10 says;
“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His Name.”

When you sacrifice in secret, God prepares to reward you openly.

Matthew 6:4 says;
Your Father Who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.

Even when your sacrifice requires waiting, your reward is guaranteed.

Psalm 126:5 says;
“Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy.”

God collects every tear, and He converts them into testimonies.Hallelujah!

Child of God, none of your giving, your helping, your serving, your commitment to God is in vain.

God sees every seed, every tear, every act of obedience, your persistence, and kindness you sow or give.It is not wasted.

God never forgets.
God never ignores.
God always rewards.

Revelation 2:2 says;
"I know your works, your labor, and your patience."

May God give us the strength to continue doing good, in the Name of Jesus Christ.May we not grow weary in doing good in the Name of Jesus Christ.

We Exist to Glorify God and make Him known.

Beloved in Christ, let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith.

Remember that our lives are a v***r that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.

The time we have on this earth is a gift, and we are called to spend it on something eternal.

We exist because of the Lord; without Him, we are nothing. God created us in His own image and likeness for His Glory.

He has shown us mercy and called us out of darkness into His wonderful light.

Therefore, I urge you, by the mercies of God:

Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice to God, holy and pleasing to Him, which is your spiritual worship.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God.

Walk worthy of the calling you have received, with all humility and gentleness, bearing with one another in love.

Encourage one another daily and build each other up, especially as we see the day drawing near.

Let your conduct be honorable among all people, so that they may observe your good works and Glorify God.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths.

Live a life captivated by the love of Christ, allowing the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control—to be evident in all that you do. Let everything about you point to God and Glorify Him, for this is the very reason for your existence,Amen.
