Pursuant to Republic Act No. 9163 (NSTP Act of 2001) and in accordance with the Updated Implementing Guidelines and Procedures (IGP) for the Accreditation and Operationalization of the National Service Reserve Corps (NSRC) under NDRRMC Resolution No. 06, s. 2021, all concerned students are required to attend the:

Attendance will be monitored by the CSUCC Emergency Response Team (ERT).

To all CSUCC NSRC members, please be informed that the Membership Renewal Form for School Year 2026–2027 is now available at our office.

All members are encouraged to accomplish and submit the renewal form on or before August 31, 2026.

Timely renewal is necessary to maintain active membership and continued participation in the programs and activities of the CSUCC NSRC. Thank you for your continued commitment, dedication, and service to the organization and the community.

𝗕𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗧: 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗬 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘, 𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗢𝗟!

As temperatures rise, so does the risk of heat-related illnesses. Knowing the warning signs and taking simple precautions can help keep you, your family, and your community safe.

𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗬 𝗛𝗬𝗗𝗥𝗔𝗧𝗘𝗗 - Drink plenty of water, even when you’re not thirsty.
𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧 - Wear lightweight, loose-fitting, light-colored clothing.
𝗟𝗜𝗠𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗗𝗢𝗢𝗥 𝗔𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗬 - Stay outdoors during cooler parts of the day.
𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗞 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗗𝗘 - Take breaks in shaded or air-conditioned areas.
𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗦𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗘𝗡 - Apply SPF 30 or higher and reapply regularly.

Be familiar with the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, and never ignore symptoms such as heavy sweating, weakness, nausea, confusion, or loss of consciousness. In case of heat-related illnesses , call 911/CDRRMO immediately, move the person to a cooler place, and help lower their body temperature with cool cloths or a cool bath. Do not give them anything to drink.

Let’s stay informed, stay prepared, and look out for one another. Beat the heat before the heat beats you!

On August 8, 2026, the Caraga State University – Cabadbaran Campus National Service Reserve Corps – Emergency Response Team (CSUCC NSRC–ERT) started its every-Saturday refresher training, establishing a regular training schedule focused on strengthening the knowledge, skills, and preparedness of its members.

The refresher sessions provide members with an opportunity to revisit essential emergency response concepts, practice vital skills, and enhance their readiness through continuous hands-on training. By making training a consistent part of the team’s activities, CSUCC NSRC–ERT continues to build a more capable, confident, and responsive group of student responders prepared to serve whenever needed.

On August 4, 2026, the Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus National Service Reserve Corps – Emergency Response Team (CSUCC NSRC–ERT) was mobilized as standby medics during CSUCC Entrada 2026, held at the Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus.

During the morning activities, the responders remained on medical standby, fully equipped and ready to provide immediate first aid and emergency assistance, ensuring the safety of participants. As the program transitioned into the evening, CSUCC NSRC–ERT together with the CSUCC University Student Government and the CSUCC ROTC Unit, activated the Incident Management Team (IMT) to strengthen operational coordination and effectively manage the increasing number of attendees while ensuring the safety, security, and smooth flow of the evening activities.

The Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus National Service Reserve Corps – Emergency Response Team (CSUCC NSRC–ERT) is opening its doors to students who are ready to grow, serve, and become part of a team dedicated to helping others.

Whether you're already trained or willing to be trained, CSUCC NSRC–ERT welcomes individuals with a heart for volunteerism and a commitment to learning. Here, you'll have the opportunity to participate in disaster preparedness, emergency response, rescue awareness, incident management trainings, and campus events mobilizations that will enhance your knowledge, strengthen your leadership, and prepare you to serve your community with competence and compassion.

The Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus National Service Reserve Corps – Emergency Response Team (CSUCC NSRC-ERT) together with faculty members, successfully completed the 2-Day Fire Brigade Capacity-Building and Skills Enhancement Training held on July 22–23, 2026, at the CSUCC Audio Visual Room.

The training enhanced participants' knowledge and practical skills in fire prevention, fire suppression, fire brigade structure, emergency response, and basic fire brigade operations through informative lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.

CSUCC NSRC-ERT also extends its sincere gratitude to the dedicated personnel of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Cabadbaran City Fire Station and the CSUCC Disaster Risk Reduction and Management personnel for serving as our instructors and facilitators, whose expertise and guidance made this training a meaningful and successful learning experience.
