Centuries ago, the Balangay sailed from the rivers of Butuan—carrying people united by a common destination. It was not powered by a single voyager, but by many hands rowing together as one. 🌊

Today, that same spirit lives on.

Through Brigada Eskwela 2026, every Butuanon come together in a modern-day voyage of bayanihan—preparing schools, restoring learning spaces, and creating cleaner, greener, and safer environments for every learner.

From the innovative projects led by School YES-O chapters across the division, to the Division Federation YES-O’s Project H.I.R.A.Y.A., every effort, every volunteer, and every act of service becomes a paddle stroke guiding our voyage toward cleaner, greener, and more learner-friendly schools. ⚓🌿💚

Because in Butuan, Brigada Eskwela is more than preparing classrooms.

The initiative featured the 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁-𝗮-𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 which was held in Libertad National High School bringing together student leaders in a collective effort to create cleaner and safer learning environments. The 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢) proudly participated in the 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗢𝗳𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 at 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹, 𝗕𝗿𝗴𝘆. 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗻, 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The activity commenced with an early morning 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗲-𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲, reflecting DFYES-O’s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability. In the spirit of bayanihan, the federation also 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 alongside fellow youth organizations, partners, and stakeholders, further demonstrating a shared commitment to supporting meaningful educational initiatives.

Through service, donation, collaboration, and environmental action, 𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 continues to empower young environmental leaders and inspire communities to take meaningful steps toward a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future. 🌿🤝

𝗢𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢) successfully conducted its 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, bringing together federation officers and committee members to discuss key organizational matters and upcoming initiatives.

The session commenced with the approval of the previous minutes of the meeting, followed by the presentation and deliberation of 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟬𝟰, 𝗦. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. The federation also discussed 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗝𝗘𝗖𝗧 𝗛.𝗜.𝗥.𝗔.𝗬.𝗔. (𝗛𝗮𝗸𝗯𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝘀𝗮 𝗺𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗬𝗼𝘀 𝗻𝗮 𝗽𝗔𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻), a simultaneous school and division federation clean-up drive aimed at promoting environmental responsibility and maintaining clean and organized learning environments.

In preparation for upcoming regional initiatives, strategies for the 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗩𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 were also presented and discussed. Furthermore, updates and progress reports were provided by the 𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲, 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗚𝗣𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲, and 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 to ensure the smooth implementation of federation programs and activities.

Through active participation, and shared commitment, 𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 continues to empower youth leaders in organizational excellence, and meaningful community engagement. 🌱🤝

The session focused on the preparations and implementation of the 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝘂𝗽 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆, aiming to promote cleanliness and collective responsibility among schools and communities. Discussions also included the 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀 to further strengthen the federation’s operations and ensure the effective implementation of future programs and activities.

On May 18, 2026, the 𝗦𝗗𝗢 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢) together with 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗞𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝘆𝗼+ (𝗕𝗞𝗕+) actively participated in the celebration of 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 held at the 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 – 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆, Brgy. Doongan, Butuan City.

The activity highlighted the rich 𝗵𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆, 𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, and 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 of 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 and 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 through engaging museum discussions, artifact explorations, and cultural presentations that showcased the remarkable lifestyle and traditions of our ancestors.

As part of the celebration, the participating students also joined the 𝗞𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮: 𝗔 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 and proudly secured 𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 among the participating schools and organizations. 🏆✨

Through this meaningful experience, the participants gained valuable knowledge about the 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗮𝘆 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝘁, the historical significance of Butuan, the identity of the Caraganons, and the enduring cultural legacy preserved within the museum. The activity also strengthened the students’ appreciation for history, heritage preservation, and cultural awareness among the youth.

On May 15, 2026, the 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢) successfully joined the 𝟮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 via Google 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁 to discuss the upcoming organizational plans for the School Year 2026-2027.

The session 𝘄𝗮𝘀 conducted under the guidance of 𝗠𝗮'𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗻, 𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗿 & 𝗠𝗮'𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗰𝗮 and presided over by 𝗝𝗵𝗲𝗳𝗳 𝗬𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗻 𝗧. 𝗥𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀, 𝗗𝗙𝗦𝗦𝗟𝗚 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁.

The meeting focused on important agendas including preparations for 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝗞𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 which will be 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗿𝘀, and the 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗚𝗣𝗢𝗔).

Through cooperation and active participation, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 continue to work hard in creating initiatives that will benefit both schoools and communities while empowering the youth to become responsible and environmentally conscious leaders. ✨

𝗢𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗕𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢) successfully conducted its 𝟯𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝗲-𝘁𝗼-𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 held at the Butuan City 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲 under the guidance of Ma’am 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝗻 and presided over by 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗞𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘆 𝗠. 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁.

The session focused on the finalization and presentation of the proposed 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗚𝗣𝗢𝗔) of 𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 for the School Year 2026–2027. Discussions also included the presentation of the 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁, preparations for 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮, the proposed 𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗼 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗿𝘁, adoption of official 𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀, and other important organizational matters.

During the session, the federation also approved and passed 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗼. 𝟬𝟬𝟭, 𝗦. 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳 regarding the adoption of the official format and templates for communication letters and organizational documents of 𝗗𝗙𝗬𝗘𝗦-𝗢.

To further strengthen the organization’s operations and implementation of programs and activities, the federation also established the following committees:
