The Commission on Audit (COA) announced that the submission deadline for the Liquidation Reports for JuneβJuly 2026 has officially lapsed, with only one (1) Local Student Government (LSG) complying with the required submission among the concerned offices.
The announcement was issued pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 2627-01, which directed Student Government Instrumentalities (SGIs) with reimbursement claims to submit their corresponding liquidation reports within the prescribed period. The deadline was set for 11:30 A.M. on August 29, 2026, yet only one LSG successfully submitted its liquidation report together with the requested reimbursement claim before the cut-off.
COA Chairperson Leilani Navarro clarified that M.C. No. 2627-01 applies exclusively to offices with reimbursement claims and should not be interpreted as a blanket deadline for all financial reports. She explained that liquidation reports without reimbursement claims, along with the Statement of Cash Flows required for monthly submission under Article VIII, Rule 3 of the Commission's governing rules, will be accepted at a later schedule.
According to the Commission, the succeeding submission period for these remaining financial reports will commence once the Commission's roster of officers is complete and after the conclusion of the University's celebration of University Days, ensuring that offices will still have the opportunity to comply with their remaining reporting obligations.
