Just Show Up.
In leadership and in service, one simple principle can make a big difference—showing up. I was reminded of this through the example of PD Ellen Vee P. Chua of the Department of the Interior and Local Government – Agusan del Norte.
Even with the many responsibilities that come with leadership, she continues to make time to support community initiatives and partnerships. This reflects a powerful message: commitment is not about convenience—it’s about presence.
In Rotary and in life, when we show up, we show our dedication to serve, to lead, and to make a difference. 💙
Just Show Up.

February 2026 Issue
Leadership begins with a simple but powerful commitment—to show up. Featured in the February issue of the Midtown Post is Rtn. Ellen Vee P. Chua, Provincial Director of Department of the Interior and Local Government – Agusan del Norte, whose motto reminds us that real leadership starts with presence.
Despite demanding responsibilities and a busy schedule, she continues to find time to support community initiatives and partnerships with the Rotary Club of Midtown Butuan. Her example reflects the heart of Rotary leadership—showing commitment, being present, and standing alongside others in service to the community.
Because sometimes, the most powerful thing a leader can do is simply show up.
