Just Show Up.

In leadership and in service, one simple principle can make a big difference—showing up. I was reminded of this through the example of PD Ellen Vee P. Chua of the Department of the Interior and Local Government – Agusan del Norte.

Even with the many responsibilities that come with leadership, she continues to make time to support community initiatives and partnerships. This reflects a powerful message: commitment is not about convenience—it’s about presence.

In Rotary and in life, when we show up, we show our dedication to serve, to lead, and to make a difference. 💙

Area 3E & Area 3F | Rotary International District 3860
February 23 – March 1

The Rotary Clubs of Area 3E and Area 3F of District 3860 will proudly celebrate the 121st Rotary Week from February 23 to March 1, featuring a seven-day series of service activities that reflect Rotary’s commitment to meaningful and sustainable community impact.

Each day of the celebration is focused on one of Rotary’s Areas of Focus, where Rotarians actively serve alongside community partners, volunteers, and stakeholders—strengthening fellowship while responding to real community needs:

Promoting Peace
Fighting Disease
Providing Clean Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene
Saving Mothers and Children
Supporting Education
Growing Local Economies
Protecting the Environment

Through these activities, Rotarians demonstrate that service is most powerful when done together. The week also highlights the spirit of fellowship, collaboration, and shared leadership among clubs and partners, fostering stronger connections within and beyond Rotary.

🎉 15 Years of Service, 15 Years of Changing Lives! 🎉
The Rotary Club of Midtown Butuan marks its 15th Anniversary with another impactful milestone!

📚✨ On November 29, 2025, our club proudly turned over 348 brand-new books to Masao Elementary School, Brgy. Masao, Butuan City, warmly received by School Principal III Ms. Helenna C. P***n.

This is all part of our signature literacy project:
“Your Gift of Reading, My Learning: Libri na Gasa Mo, Kinaadman Ko” – Part 15

And guess what?
📖 348 new books worth ₱243,600.00 were added to the growing library of young learners!
✨ Bringing our grand total to:
📚 3,569 books distributed
💙 ₱2,408,350.00 invested in learning and literacy

Every book is a seed of knowledge planted in a child’s future — and we’re just getting started! 🌱✨
