Frankenstein

Sometimes I feel like I’ve created a monster, and it’s not made of flesh but of choices I can’t take back.
Every mistake I make seems to breathe life into it.
It follows me in silence, reminding me of the things I tried to forget.
People see me smiling, but they don’t see the lightning behind my calm.
I try to fix what’s broken, but every fix just makes something else fall apart.
It’s strange how regret can feel so alive.
Maybe this is what it means to be human — to live with what we’ve built, even when it hurts.
And maybe, just maybe, I can learn to love my creation instead of fearing it.
