A Caring Hand of True Gardeners

Living by the noble core value of charity, the International Order of Free Gardeners – Lawaan Lodge No. 55, Butuan City, extended financial assistance to the Por Cristo Home for the Abandoned Elderly in Barangay Abilan, Buenavista, Agusan del Norte earlier today.

Worthy Master Aldrin Alaan, together with the Master Gardeners, personally handed over the cash donation to Rev. Fr. Denis Prisco, director of the institution, as a gesture of compassion and brotherly concern for the 39 elderly residents under their care.

Also joining this charitable undertaking were the Seekers of Bitaug Lodge U.D., whose presence and support reflected the true spirit of fellowship, service, and humanitarian commitment that every Gardener upholds.

“Where charity blooms, true brotherhood grows.’’

A bloom from previous season…

A memorable and rare moment for the Worthy Brothers of Lawaan Lodge No. 55, Butuan City, as they shared a fraternal photograph with our esteemed Grand Master Henry Adams, Grand Secretary Steven Turner, and Past Master Ian Tough, who travelled all the way from the United Kingdom to Mindanao.

This photograph was taken during the 2024 International Order of Free Gardeners Mindanao District Unified Institution of Lodges and Installation of Officers held in Cagayan de Oro City.

Worthy Master Aldrin Alaan of Lawaan Lodge No. 55, Butuan City, together with his Deputy Worthy Master Suguru Kikuchi, led the brethren of Master Gardeners and earnest Seekers in the harmonious and fruitful conduct of the 5th Regular Stated Meeting.

As our custom, this gathering within the Garden served not only as a forum for the careful tending of lodge affairs, but also as a cherished occasion for fellowship—where Worthy Brothers exchange warm courtesies, renew fraternal bonds, and ensure that each one remains in good health and well-being.

Thus, in unity and purpose, the Garden continues to flourish.

Led by Worthy Master Aldrin Alaan, the 4th Regular Stated Meeting of Lawaan Lodge No. 55 of the International Order of Free Gardeners was successfully held on April 10, 2026, at its designated lodge room at the Wing-On Conference Room. Matters aimed at enhancing and improving the brotherhood, as well as deepening camaraderie and bonds among members, were discussed. Worthy brothers also had the opportunity to share the same table and interact with the seekers of the soon-to-be-chartered Bitaug Lodge.

During the 4th Regular Stated Meeting on April 10, 2026 at the WING-ON conference room, Worthy Master Aldrin Alaan of Lawaan Lodge No. 55, International Order of Free Gardeners, received a plaque of appreciation from the Barangay Council of JP Rizal in recognition of the Lodge’s valuable contribution to the success of Mutya ng JP Rizal, a highlight of the Women’s Month celebration.
