Just In | ROVER IN ACTION: Semestral End Activity held this January 18, 2025 at Butuan City Jail's Female Dormitory, Brgy. Libertad, Butuan City.
As part of our semestral culmination, we embarked on a meaningful journey at the city jail, embodying the true spirit of service and compassion. This activity was more than just a simple visit; it was a profound opportunity to extend kindness and humanity to those who need it most. Together, we shared not just food and hygiene kits, but also hope, understanding, and connection.
The atmosphere was filled with warmth as our group worked hand in hand to distribute essentials, ensuring that each recipient felt seen and valued. The smiles and gratitude we received reminded us that even small acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact on someone’s life.
This activity reinforced the importance of giving back to the community and embracing those who are often overlooked. As Rovers, we stand as beacons of compassion and solidarity, proving that change begins with genuine acts of care. Let this be a reminder that service is not just a task—it's a way of life. 💛🌍
The initiative is in collaboration with various organizations in Butuan City such as Order of Demolay, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, and Lihok Butuan.
