Usa ka psychological support initiative nga gihimo sa PASWI Butuan City Chapter aron makatabang sa mga biktima sa linog nga nakaapekto sa rehiyon sa Caraga.

Pinaagi ani, gihimong tumong sa Project HUG nga mahatagan og panahon ug luna ang mga naapektuhan aron maipadayag ang ilang gibati, makabaton og emosyonal nga paglambo, ug mapalig-on ang paglaum ug pagbangon.

Ang maong kalihokan usa ka paningkamot sa mga social worker ug mga boluntaryo sa PASWI nga maghatag og Hope, Understanding, ug Growth; usa ka gakos sa paglaum ug pag-amping alang sa tanan.

The Philippine Association of Social Workers, Inc. (PASWI) – Butuan City Chapter recently paid a courtesy visit to our beloved City Mayor, Atty. Lawrence Lemuel H. Fortun.

This meaningful engagement is in line with the upcoming Oathtaking Ceremony of the 2025 Social Work Licensure Examination (SWLE) passers, where Mayor Fortun has been invited as Guest of Honor. The visit also served as an avenue to discuss possible areas of collaboration between the City Government of Butuan and PASWI Butuan City Chapter, particularly in advancing programs and advocacies for social welfare and development.

This partnership reflects our shared vision of a more inclusive, empowered, and socially responsive Butuan City, where social workers, in collaboration with the local government, continue to uplift the lives of individuals, families, and communities.

(PASWI) Butuan City Chapter proudly welcomes Ryl Patayan, RSW, as he officially takes his oath of office as the new Grievance Officer of the Chapter. His assumption of this role marks a strengthened commitment of the organization to uphold fairness, accountability, and professional integrity among its members.

As Grievance Officer, Ryl will serve as a key figure in addressing concerns within the chapter, ensuring that every member’s voice is heard and that organizational processes remain guided by the values of justice, respect, and ethical practice.
