🌿✨𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐈𝐀✨🌿
Did you know that the emblem of the 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 is filled with deep 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 and 𝐬𝐲𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐦? 💚
Each element reflects the 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬, 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲, and 𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 of every Girl Scout in the country.
💚 The 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 stands for 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 — a reminder of the 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲, and 𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞 that every young girl carries within her.
🍃 The 𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐢𝐥'𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐬 symbolize the three essential parts of the 𝐆𝐢𝐫𝐥 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞:
• 𝐃𝐮𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐝,
• 𝐋𝐨𝐲𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐲, and
• 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝.
These serve as the guiding principles of every Girl Scout’s journey.
⭐ The 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬 represent the major island groups of the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 — 𝐋𝐮𝐳𝐨𝐧, 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬, and 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 — showing 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 and 𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝 across the entire nation.
🌱 The 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤 signifies the 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 that 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, reminding us of the continuous 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡, 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 that Girl Scouting aims to develop.
This 𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦 is more than just a symbol, 𝐢𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐰𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫, and the 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐟𝐢𝐥𝐥. 💚✨
