It’s a dangerous cycle: we make a mistake, but instead of humbling ourselves, our pride takes over. We get defensive, we get loud, and we start blaming everyone, including God for the consequences of our own choices.

Pride is the enemy of growth. You cannot fix a mistake you are too proud to admit. Real "God-fidence" is having the courage to say, "I messed up, I need grace, and I need to do better." Don't let your ego steal your peace or your progress.

"Pride leads to destruction, and arrogance to downfall."

Dealing with the immaturity and selfishness of the previous generation is exhausting. It’s not even about their age—it’s about their attitude.

It is harder to lead your home when you are still busy protecting it from the drama of the people who raised you.

But the cycle ends here. I’m relying on Jesus to make sure I don't pass those same patterns down to my kids.

"In everything set them an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned." Titus 2:7

"Which is harder for you: speaking the right words or doing the right actions?"

As a new dad, I’m learning that my child is my biggest shadow. I can’t teach them to pray if I don’t pray. I can’t teach them to be kind if I am harsh. Relying on Jesus to help me walk a path worth following.
