From our post yesterday, we were only able to raise just enough funds to buy food for our rescues until today. However, we once again have nothing left to buy their food 😭😭
Despite the continuous efforts of our volunteers and the unwavering support from all of you, we cannot deny that both our group and our beloved rescues are going through a very difficult crisis during these times 🥹🥹
Once again, we are knocking on your kind hearts for help 🙏💔

Your small donations, no matter how little, can already make a huge difference. If combined together, they can help us buy food supplies for our rescues today 🙏🙏

Your kindness and support mean so much not only to us, but especially to the rescues who rely on us every single day. Thank you very much for continuously helping our voiceless furbabies 🐾🙏

Every day, our food expenses for more than 200 rescued animals range from ₱6,000–₱7,500. Due to the continuous rise in prices, rice that we used to buy for ₱25 per kilo now costs almost ₱50 per kilo even at the cheapest price. Dog food currently ranges from ₱90–₱100 per kilo, while their daily viand consumption reaches around 20 kilos, costing approximately ₱2,000–₱3,000 daily.
We carefully stretch and manage their food supply each day just to make sure they still have something to eat, while continuously hoping and striving to gather enough support for the following days 🥺🙏

Sa among post 4 days ago, gikan sa inyong nga online donation, feeding and inkind donation nakakaon atong mga pinalangga na rescue sulod sa 3 ka adlaw. Apan karong adlawa, dominggo kulangan pa among pagkaon sa ilaha, nag nabilin nalng sa amo supply ang inkind donation na gihatag gahapon pero kulang pami ug bugas ug sud-an para karong adlawa ug sa mga sunod na adlaw 🙏🙏

Hearts for Paws badly needs your help 🐾

We may want to help every animal in need, but because of our limitations, we simply cannot always provide assistance to everyone. Every single day, we struggle to look for funds for the food, medicines, vitamins, cleaning supplies, and salaries of our caretakers. Halos adlaw-adlaw lisod kaayo, pero wala gyud mi ni give up kay unsaon nalang ang among mga rescue nga nagsalig sa amo.

We are doing everything we can, but we cannot do this alone.

If you see yourself as an animal lover, pet lover, dog lover, or cat lover, we sincerely ask you to do your part. Bisag gamay nga tabang sa mga nanginahanglan na animals na inyong na encounter, dako na kaayo na ug impact sa kinabuhi nila. Please magtinabangay ta ninyo, dili pa kaya sa group na matabangan tanan, limitado ra among kaya buhaton sa karon. Magtinabangay ta ninyo para mas daghan pa ta ug hayop nga matabangan. 🙏

Yes, we do rescue animals, but depende lang gyud sa among current capacity. Daku pa kaayo mig utang sa mga veterinary clinics, and almost every fundraising or donation drive para sa among mga rescue, dili ra gyud magkatunga sa total bill among ma-raise. Mao nga dili gyud mahuman among utang bisan naningkamot mi adlaw-adlaw.

Also, to everyone messaging our page to surrender their animals, whatever your reason may be, especially if you are the owner, please be informed that we DO NOT accept surrendered animals because we do not tolerate surrendering pets.

Instead, we strongly encourage you to look for responsible adopters. Please do not decide to surrender them to shelters, animal welfare groups, or dog pounds. Luoy kaayo ang mga hayop nga naanad sa balay ug pamilya unya mapadulong sa pound or overcrowded shelter. They become stressed, depressed, and confused.

Please be responsible pet owners. Their lives are not disposable. 🐶🐱💔

Today, our hearts are full of gratitude as we thank Moonwalkers ‘89 Inc. for taking the time to visit and share their blessings by feeding the abandoned dogs at Hearts for Paws Animal Shelter. 🐾❤️

Your kindness and generosity mean so much not only to the shelter, but especially to the dogs who felt love, care, and warmth through every meal you shared with them. Acts like these remind us that compassion truly makes a difference in the lives of animals who are waiting for a second chance.

What makes this even more touching is that this beautiful gesture was dedicated in loving memory of Yackie, your beloved dog who crossed the rainbow bridge 16 years ago. Though years have passed, Yackie’s love continues to live on through the kindness you spread to other animals in need. 🌈🐶

As of 9:37am, we are still far from reaching the amount needed for our rescues’ food supply. Our daily food budget for more than 200 rescued animals usually reaches around ₱6,000–₱7,500, but so far, we have only collected ₱886.85 🥹

Please help us🙏 we are on zero donation😭

2 weeks ago, we reached out for help for our rescue animals, and through your kindness and generosity, we were able to provide food for them. However, once again, their food supply has already run out.

More than a week ago, we posted a plea for food supply as we were already running low. As of today, all the heartfelt in-kind and online donations that were given have already been consumed. Sadly, we still do not have food supply prepared for our rescues tomorrow 😢

Once again, we are humbly knocking on your kind hearts for any help 🙏🙏 may it be dog food, rice, viand, or any amount of donation. Your support keeps our rescues fed and gives them another day of hope and survival.
