✨ A New School Year Begins! Welcome,
SY 2026–2027! ✨📚

The first day of school marked the beginning of another exciting chapter filled with learning, growth, and opportunities.

The opening program commenced with a solemn Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by an inspiring Welcome Message from our School Principal, Dante P. More, DPA, who encouraged learners to embrace the new school year with enthusiasm, discipline, and determination.

The event also included the Introduction of Teachers, giving students the opportunity to meet the dedicated mentors who will guide them throughout their academic journey.

To promote positive values from day one, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) recognized and rewarded deserving students through its Balik-Eskwela Kit Initiative. Kits were awarded to learners who arrived early, came in proper school attire, and willingly extended their help in maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the school grounds.

This initiative serves as a reminder that small acts of responsibility, discipline, and service deserve recognition and appreciation.

As we officially open School Year 2026–2027, let us continue to learn, lead, and inspire one another. Here's to a year filled with achievements, meaningful experiences, and countless opportunities to shine!

𝗥𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 🚦

SSLG Adviser, Mrs. Jhoana Omoy Gabutin, together with the student representatives — Aprille M. Delarmente, Marjorie S. Mosquito, and Jaymark B. Saguran — joined the Road Safety Month Celebration initiated by the CTTMD. The event gathered participating colleges and universities from Butuan City to promote awareness and responsibility towards road safety.

Cabcabon National High School was privileged to be invited to witness the different activities such as quiz bowl, road safety expo , viewing exhibits, and on-the-spot painting competitions. In addition, the CTTMD conducted a symposium discussing Road Safety Do’s and Don’ts, as well as presenting important road safety data and information to the participants.

Through this meaningful initiative, participants were reminded that practicing road safety is everyone’s responsibility. 🚸✨

LOOK | School Road Safety Program Implementation Contest Launch 🚦

The SSLG Officers together with selected Grade 9 student proudly attended the Launching of the School Road Safety Program Implementation Contest held on March 9, 2026 at Balanghai Hotel, Golden Tara Hall.

The event gathered school representatives and key officials who shared valuable insights on promoting road safety awareness among students and the community. The program was graced by distinguished speakers including Ms. Maria Kristina E. Cassion, MBA, CESE – CTTMD Department Head; Atty. Clint T. Dabalos – Committee on Transportation; Ms. Eliza Rose R. Pangilinan – Acting Division Head, TOD; Engr. Aubrey D. Menoria – Acting Section Head, TOD; and Mr. Omar Roman Nonnato P. Arellano – Senior Transportation Regulation Officer, TOD.

During the program, the speakers provided an overview of the contest, presented the guidelines and criteria for judging, and emphasized the importance of implementing effective road safety programs in schools. Their discussions highlighted how students can play an active role in promoting discipline, awareness, and responsibility on the road.

The event was also honored by the presence of our City Mayor, Atty. Lawrence Lemeul H. Fortun, who strongly emphasized the significance of road safety, stating:
“Road safety is something we cannot compromise.”

The program concluded with the presentation of the monitoring , evaluation schedule and support commitment of pledge , as well as the awards and recognition for participating schools, encouraging everyone to actively support the initiative.

With pride and gratitude, we celebrate the achievements of our learners this 3rd Quarter Recognition Day, held in honor of their hard work, perseverance, and excellence.

Feb. 14, 2026 — Cabcabon National High School celebrated Valentine’s Day filled with colors, energy, and smiles! 🎨💃 Students and teachers gathered to enjoy a lively and joyful atmosphere, making the celebration truly special for everyone who took part.

From the exciting Color Me Run to the fun and energetic Zumba, the day became a wonderful showcase of friendship, teamwork, and school spirit. Laughter echoed across the campus as participants ran through vibrant colors and danced together, creating moments full of happiness and positivity. ❤️✨

More than just an event, the celebration reminded everyone that Valentine’s Day is about connection, appreciation, and shared memories. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Principal, Dr. Dante P. More, and to all our dedicated teachers for their continuous support and guidance in making this celebration successful. It was truly a day to remember — beyond colors, beyond fun, and beyond moments. 💫
