The Sosumpit Youth Organization (SYO) successfully participated in a mangrove planting activity in celebration of Earth Day 2026, held today, April 19, 2025, at 6:00 AM in Brgy. Lumbocan, Butuan City. The initiative aimed to promote environmental awareness and strengthen efforts in protecting coastal ecosystems, emphasizing the importance of mangroves in sustaining marine life and preventing shoreline erosion.
