Last October 11, 2026, the Psychology Society officers participated in the Mental Health Caravan Caraga held at Allied Care Experts (ACE) Hospital. In celebration of Mental Health Month, the event brought together psychology students, lecturers, and mental health professionals for an insightful symposium centered on mental health awareness, understanding, and advocacy. ๐Ÿฉท

The gathering provided a meaningful space for learning, sharing perspectives, and raising questions about mental health, with participants receiving answers and insights from the speakers.

Through initiatives like this, we are reminded of the importance of promoting mental health awareness, breaking the stigma, and fostering a community where everyone feels heard, understood, and supported.

A day of leadership, learning, and growth! ๐Ÿ’—

Last October 10, 2026, the Psychology Society participated in CHASSulong, a leadership training spearheaded by the CHASS Local Student Government. The event provided an opportunity for student leaders to strengthen their leadership skills, broaden their perspectives, and learn from one another.

The morning session featured resource speakers Gratz S. Obsioma and Ann Mae Monique Jongko, who shared valuable insights on setting goals, upholding principles as a leader, and building one's personal brand.

In the afternoon, participants engaged in specialized training sessions for the different committees, particularly the Fiscal, Technical, and Secretariat Committees, allowing them to develop skills relevant to their respective roles and responsibilities.
