Kami sa MMACI-Association of Future Librarians and Information Specialist, kilalang-kilala namin kayo — kayong mga mahilig mag-organize, mag-research, magbasa, at tumulong sa ibang tao na makahanap ng tamang impormasyon. Alam mong gusto naming mag-Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) ka, kasi nakikita namin kung gaano kalawak ang kayang marating ng skills mo.

𝐒𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐨 𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐛𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐧𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐢𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐚 𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐒 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬?
Hindi lang ito "pang-library" na course. Ang BLIS ay gateway sa maraming industries. Pwede kang maging Licensed Librarian sa school, academic, public, or special libraries. Pwede ka sa archives at museums para i-preserve ang history at culture natin. In demand din ang BLIS grads sa corporate world bilang Knowledge Manager, Records Officer, Research Analyst, o Data Curator. Sa age ng AI at big data, kailangan ng mga kumpanya ng experts sa information organization, digital archiving, at metadata management. Pwede ka rin sa IT field bilang Information Specialist, Systems Librarian. At yes — may government positions din with good plantilla items. In short: kung saan may data at information, may lugar ka.

Hindi namin sinasabing ito lang ang best path. Pero kung "kilalang kilala" mo yung sarili mo na organized ka, techy ka, curious ka, at gusto mong makatulong through information, baka BLIS na talaga ang para sa'yo.

Tara, sabay tayong buuin ang future ng information. Be a future Librarian and Information Specialist. Mag-BLIS ka na sa MMACI!

Excellence was on display as 3rd-year BLIS students were honored during the Journal Presentation held at Audio Visual Room 2, Merchant Marine Academy of Caraga, Inc., on April 27.

𝘾𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙤 𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙡. received Best in Research Paper and Best in Research Presenter for their outstanding work and delivery. 𝙋𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙨𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙡. were cited Best in Abstract for their concise and compelling summary.
