HAPPY SCOUTING MONTH 2026! 💜💚💛

This October, we proudly celebrate Scouting Month, a special time to honor the spirit, values, and meaningful experiences that continue to shape every Girl Scout. Scouting is more than wearing a uniform or participating in activities; it is a journey of learning, friendship, leadership, service, and personal growth. Through every challenge, adventure, and opportunity to serve, we develop confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and compassion while learning the importance of making a positive difference in our community.

May this celebration remind us to continue living the values of scouting, to lead with purpose, serve with sincerity, and inspire others through our actions. Together, let us continue to learn, lead, serve, and inspire as we proudly celebrate the spirit of scouting.

Highlights from the recently concluded Senior and Cadet Scouts Conference held on September 26, 2026, at the GSP Headquarters, Capitol Site, Butuan City.

The gathering provided an invaluable opportunity for our Senior and Cadet Scouts to engage in leadership development, collaborate with peers, and strengthen their bonds of sisterhood. Cdt. Sct. Roma Vey T. Laag also shared insights on the Free Being Me program, promoting confidence, self-expression, and positive self-image among the participants.

The conference also featured the election of new officers for the three clubs—JJG, HAM Radio TV, and SPB—for the 2027–2028 term, giving our girls in green an opportunity to exercise their leadership and decision-making skills.

Thank you to everyone whose participation and support made this event a success. May this gathering continue to inspire our Senior and Cadet Scouts to lead with confidence, serve with purpose, and grow together in sisterhood.

Girls in Green on a Mission! 🏕️

Six days of adventure, learning, teamwork, and unforgettable memories unfolded during the 36th Regional Camp at Energy Park, Tagum City, from September 8–13, 2026.

Representing Agusan Council, the Girls in Green took on different challenges, from setting up tents and building a mini kitchen to participating in exciting camp activities.

The opening ceremony on September 10 brought an exciting start to the camp with a beautiful fireworks display, the surprise appearance of the GSP mascot, and the presence of fellow Girl Scouts and dedicated Titas.

The girls also took part in:

🌴 Palm City Drift – Exploring the culture and history of Tagum City.
🌱 Project GreenHER – Planting trees and promoting environmental care.
🔥 Securing the Vibe – Learning basic self-defense and fire safety.
🧗‍♀️ Project Altitude – Taking on rope activities that encouraged courage and teamwork.

Beyond the fun and adventure, the camp provided valuable lessons in teamwork, courage, responsibility, preparedness, and perseverance. A meaningful journey filled with challenges, laughter, new friendships, and memories to treasure.

A Milestone of Service, Unity, and Commitment 💚

The GSP Agusan Council proudly commemorates the Turn-Over Ceremony and Blessing of the New GSP Building. A significant milestone that reflects the collective efforts, unwavering support, and shared commitment of individuals and institutions dedicated to strengthening the movement.

The Council extends its sincere gratitude and appreciation to Congressman Jose “Joboy” S. Aquino II, Fr. Ronniel G. Babano, GSP Eastern Mindanao Regional Chairperson Ms. Percianita G. Racho, Council President Ms. Thelma C. Villanueva, the Council Board Members and Staff, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and to all individuals and organizations who, in one way or another, contributed to the creation of this building.

Your invaluable support, dedication, and cooperation have made this milestone possible. May this new GSP Building continue to stand as a testament to our shared commitment to empowering young women through leadership and service to the community.

This new building stands as a symbol of growth, service, and opportunity. May it serve as a lasting venue for leadership development, learning, fellowship, and meaningful activities that will continue to inspire generations of Girl Scouts.

Small acts, when multiplied by hundreds of people, can transform the world. 💚

​The Agusan Council Senior Planning Board (SPB) successfully conducted Project C.A.R.E.: Giving Hope Through School Supplies and Hygiene Kits at the MVNABI Child Development Center in Bancasi, Butuan City on August 1, 2026.

​Through this initiative, educational materials and essential hygiene kits were distributed to support the development and well-being of the young learners.

​We extend our sincere gratitude to all donors and supporters whose generous contributions made this project possible. Your support directly contributes to fostering a better learning environment for the children of our community.

For many nursery children, something as simple as a notebook, pencil, or crayons can make a world of difference.

Through our Senior Planning Board Outreach Program, we hope to place these essential school supplies into the hands of young learners of MVNBAI Daycare Center and give them a joyful start to their educational journey.

A small act of kindness today can inspire confidence, spark curiosity, and remind a child that their dreams matter.
