Ever notice how all our pride instantly melts away the moment life gets truly heavy?

​In this Sunday’s Gospel, a desperate mother completely humbles herself just to fight for her child’s healing. Even when met with silence and a harsh comparison, she bravely replies:

"Lord, even the little dogs eat the scraps that fall from their masters' table."

​It’s such a powerful reminder for us today: there is zero shame in dropping our ego to ask for help, refusing to give up on the people we love, and trusting that even the smallest scrap of grace is enough to change everything.

It's so easy to overthink life and feel like we always need to have our act completely together.

​Today's Gospel gives us a much-needed breather:

'Unless you change and become like little children, you won't get in.'

​Basically, it's a reminder to stop stressing out, drop the ego, and trust like a kid again. We don't have to carry the whole world on our shoulders all the time.
