A House Built by Many Hearts
The sun was just beginning to rise when the brethren started to arrive. Some carried hammers, others brought pieces of wood, nails, and simple tools. A few came with nothing but their hands and a willing heart.
The place was quiet at first. Then the sound of work slowly filled the air—hammering, sawing, footsteps moving back and forth. Someone passed the wood, another held it in place, while another fixed the nails. No one asked who should do the hard work. Everyone simply helped.
This small house was not built by one person. It was built by many hands working together.
There were smiles, laughter, and moments of rest under the shade. Even though the work was tiring, no one complained. Each person knew why they were there—to help someone who needed a place to call home.
This is the beauty of bayanihan. When people come together with kindness, even a small house becomes something very special.
By the end of the day, what stood there was more than just walls and a roof. It was a reminder that when we care for one another, we show the love that God placed in our hearts.
A simple home was built that day—but more importantly, love and unity were clearly seen in every helping hand. 🤍
