🌧️ BAHA BA O BASURA? ♻️

Sa gitna ng malalakas na pag-ulan at pagbaha na nararanasan sa maraming bahagi ng Luzon, isang simpleng tanong ang maaari nating pag-isipan:

“Saan napupunta ang basurang itinatapon natin kapag umulan?”

Ang maling pagtatapon ng basura ay maaaring magbara sa mga kanal at daluyan ng tubig, na maaaring magpalala ng pagbaha sa ating mga komunidad.

Bilang bahagi ng TLE subject, natututuhan natin na ang pagiging responsable ay hindi lang tungkol sa paggawa—kundi pati sa matalinong paggamit, muling paggamit, at tamang pagtatapon ng resources.

As we officially conclude our Nutrition Month celebration, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who became part of this meaningful journey.

To all the teachers and students who willingly participated in our interviews, thank you for sharing your time, ideas, and experiences with us. Your support and cooperation greatly contributed to the success of our Nutrition Month activities.

Although the celebration has come to an end, the message of Nutrition Month should continue to live on. Let us keep practicing healthy eating, making better food choices, and encouraging others to adopt healthier habits. Good nutrition is not just for one month, it is a commitment we should practice every day.

In celebration of Nutrition Month, the TLE Department’s LEAP Club challenged our Grade 10 students to showcase their culinary skills in the Wrap & Roll healthy meal prep competition.

Combining balanced nutrition, creativity, and culinary technique, our Grade 10 participants proved that preparing healthy, delicious meals is an essential life skill. Great job to all the participants for taking a LEAP toward healthier lifestyle choices! 🥦✨

As part of the Nutrition Month 2026 celebration, the "Eco-Kusina Challenge: Healthy Plates for a Greener Tomorrow" was successfully held on July 29, 2026. The activity was participated in by the Grade 12 TVL (Home Economics) students, who showcased their creativity, culinary skills, and knowledge in preparing healthy and environmentally friendly dishes.

The challenge aimed to promote proper nutrition, sustainable cooking practices, and environmental responsibility by encouraging students to create meals that are both nutritious and eco-friendly.

The event was successfully led and organized by Ms. Neryln H. Francisco, whose guidance and dedication helped make the activity meaningful and successful.

We would also like to express our sincere appreciation to our judges, Mr. Jaime R. Soriano and Mrs. Mary Grace B. Remulla, for sharing their time, expertise, and valuable insights throughout the competition.

Congratulations to all the participants for their hard work, creativity, and dedication.
