December 19, 2025 — This day marks Day 6 of the 15th Foundation Anniversary of St. Adelaide School-Philippines with laughter and shared joy. The day event featured the 𝐀𝐝𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭—𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 from Kinder to Grade 6 that took place at 8:30 a.m. at the Orbos Gymnasium Plaza of Burgos.
A solemn prayer marks the beginning of the event, followed by an energizer that brought everyone to their feet—parents, students, and teachers connecting to our one and only creator. This simple beginning set the tone of the day: one group, one community, one family. A warm-up dance led by the teachers followed, symbolizing the Adelaidean tradition of unity and igniting the spirit of celebration in every household present.
A message by Hon. Osward Gines reminded us of the vital role of a family as the first home of learning, love, and values. That the importance of strengthening the bond between school and family is nurtured through compassionate days of bonding and having a responsible life as a youth. As the season of Christmas draws near, everyone was enlightened that this celebration is also a call to share one’s light with others, extending the love beyond one’s own home with the school faculty and teachers that brought the talents of the Adelaidean kids to be respectful and be delighted at all times.
The message of gratitude was further deepened by our respected School Principal, Ma’am Adelaida G. Carvajal, who expressed her admiration for the collective effort that everyone has poured into the celebration. She reminded the community that at the heart of Family Day lies the birth of Jesus Christ—a symbol of humility and self-giving love that connects the presence of everyone to be reminded of true virtue. Parents serve as the strongest pillars of their children’s growth, and teachers as the second parents that shape not only minds but also the values of being part of the Adelaidean community. Above all, she reaffirmed that family remains the strongest support system of every Adelaidean that serves as the foundation of their nurturing self.
The celebration continued with Adelaideans Got Talent: Family Edition, judged by Mr. Ramelo Mon Jr., Ms. Frimaly Calamno, and Mrs. Cecilia Bunao. Each family brought a unique story to the stage. The Suaverdez Family opened the competition with an energetic dance that blended modern trends with the warmth of the Christmas season. The Buya-Lopez Family followed with a powerful spoken piece rooted in nationalism and historical reflection. Also, the Estrada-Rufin Family did not waver to enter the stage with the movements and expressions that bring smiles to the audience, whilst the Ebuen Family closes the performances with a heartfelt vocal presentation that connects everyone through their remarkable voices that can light up the world.

The celebration stood as more than a series of competitions; it became a part of the unending tradition of the school that strengthens the families, guides the educators, and shares the values that continue to bind the Adelaidean community as one. The Family Day 2025 reminded everyone that when hearts unite in the presence of love, joy, and hope, they will resonate throughout the years, and when families stand together, the future will ascend to a brighter side.
Indeed, the true victory of the day was not measured by awards alone, but by the unity of everyone that makes this event possible through the bonds that have been strengthened and the memories created. It is proof that in St. Adelaide School-Philippines, family is not just celebrated; it is lived.
