On this night, the Senior Scouts of Burauen National High School (BNHS) came together to celebrate Earth Hour in the most meaningful way. Upholding the values and principles of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines, we switched off the lights not just to save energy, but to switch on our connection with nature and with one another. ๐Ÿค๐ŸŒณ

As the surroundings went dark, we found light in the beauty of the night and the stars above. It was the perfect time to reconnect with nature, appreciating the simple gifts of the earth that we often take for granted. But more than that, it was a night filled with joy and togetherness that brought us even closer.

We strengthened the bond that makes us one troop, one family. We learned that protecting our environment is best done when we are united and connected. This night reminded us that while technology and lights are useful, nothing beats the warmth of friendship and the peace of being one with nature.

Happy World Scout Day & 169th Birth Anniversary of Robert Baden-Powell! โšœ๏ธ

Every February 22, Scouts around the world honor the life and legacy of the founder of the Scout Movement and celebrate World Scout Dayโ€”a day that unites millions of young people in the spirit of service, leadership, and brotherhood. ๐ŸŒ

In 1907, Lord Baden-Powell held a simple experimental camp with just 20 boys on Brownsea Island. What began as a small gathering soon grew into a global movement after the publication of his book, Scouting for Boys, in 1908. From that single spark emerged the worldโ€™s largest non-political youth organizationโ€”committed to building character, developing skills, and inspiring young people to serve others and make a positive difference in their communities.

Today, we continue to live by the Scout Oath and Law, carrying forward B.P.โ€™s vision of creating a better worldโ€”one Scout at a time.

The Burauen National High School (BNHS) Senior Scouts participated with great honor in the 27th Annual Pilgrimage culminating activity, held today in reverence of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception.

This annual pilgrimage is a cornerstone of our community's spiritual life, providing an opportunity for reflection, prayer, and communal solidarity. Our Senior Scouts demonstrated exemplary conduct, embodying the values of faith, duty, and service that are integral to the Scout Oath and Law. Their participation underscores a commitment to upholding time-honored traditions and fostering a deeper understanding of our shared values. May the blessings of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception continue to inspire and guide us in our pursuit of excellence and service to others.

The final day of Burauen National High School BSP & GSP School-based Encampment began with cheers and smiles as crews were awarded for their effort, teamwork, and dedication throughout the encampment. Each recognition wasnโ€™t just about victory, but about the journey shared, the lessons learned, and the bonds formed along the way.

After the awarding, everyone joined hands in a great circleโ€”singing together, swaying as one, and sharing the joy of a successful encampment. The wave circle flowed around, reminding every scout that unity and friendship are what make scouting truly special.

Mud, sweat, and cheers! We conquered every obstacle: diving into the mud, crawling through holes, racing in huge sacks, and mastering the kadang-kadang! This obstacle course tested our strength, resilience, and teamwork, but we emerged victorious with smiles on our faces.

Senses on overdrive! Blindfolded, we navigated the unknown, relying only on sound and touch. Then, we put our senses to the test at different stations: touching, smelling, hearing, memorizing, and tasting. This challenge taught us the importance of trusting our other senses and working together as a team.
