A Night of Honor, Triumph, and Leadership!

The Burauen Community College ROTC Unit ROTC proudly commemorates its outstanding achievements throughout AY 2025-2026.

The night was made even more remarkable as 1LT HERMENEGILDO H APORDO PA (RES) led the prestigious Military Toast, honoring excellence, dedication, and unwavering leadership.

Distinguished guests graced the occasion, including esteemed guests, LTC JOEL P BALAGOT (GSC) FS PA- ROTC Commandant; NSTP Director Judy C. Olaya, ROTC Coordinator Imar O. Taganna, ROTC Staff Marian M. Barbosa, Tactical NCO and GMAs, all of whom contributed to the evening's grand celebration.

IN PHOTOS: BASIC ROTC GRADUATION CEREMONY AND OATH-TAKING OF RESERVIST 2026

On 22 June 2026, Burauen Community College Reserve Officers' Training Corps Unit proudly celebrated the graduation and oath-taking of 722 Basic ROTC cadets and 35 Advanced ROTC cadets, a momentous milestone marking their dedication, discipline, and commitment to service. The ceremony, held at Burauen Multi Purpose Building highlighted the perseverance and excellence of each cadet.

A heartfelt salute to our esteemed College Administrator Dr. Jett C. Quebec, LTC JOEL P BALAGOT (GSC) FS PA, 804th CDC Director/BCC ROTC Commandant, and all distinguished guests, parents, training staff, and officers whose unwavering support made this year truly remarkable.

The event was graced by Guest of Honor and Speaker, COL RAMONITO C TABOY GSC (FS) PA, Group Commander. IN PHOTOS: 2026 WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY
"Now for Climate"

On June 5, 2026, eight cadet officers from the Burauen Community College ROTC Unit participated in the 2026 World Environment Day celebration, embracing the theme "Now for Climate." The event was marked by a plog run, a combination of jogging and a clean-up drive, held at the Burauen Municipal Grounds.

The participants arrived, assembled, and registered at 6:00 AM, followed by the opening program at 7:00 AM, which included an invocation, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, and the Burauen Hymn. Afterwards, the emcee explained the mechanics of the activity. At 7:30 AM, the plog run officially commenced.
By the end of the event, BCC ROTC Group 1 had collected 20 kilograms of garbage, while BCC ROTC Group 2 gathered 22 kilograms. The awarding ceremony and distribution of certificates and prizes took place at 10:30 AM. BCC ROTC Group 1 secured 3rd Place, while BCC ROTC Group 2 received a Consolation Prize.

Through their efforts, the participants contributed to the fight against plastic pollution and highlighted the importance of environmental responsibility and climate action.
