In preparation for the opening of classes, Ms. Alexandra Gonzaga (Ms. Bulan 2024) and Ms. Lyra Mae Gipa (Ms. Bulan Tourism 2024) joined today the "Brigada Eskwela 2024" kick-off program of the Bulan National High School.

“Bayanihan para sa Matatag na Paaralan” is the theme for this year’s activity, according to DepEd Memorandum No. 33-2024 released Wednesday, July 10.

The Brigada Eskwela usually involves cleaning, repainting, and doing necessary repairs in public schools to prepare them ahead of the reopening of classes.

Ms. Alexandra Gonzaga (Ms. Bulan 2024) and Ms. Ryza Guelas (Ms. Bulan Padaraw 2024) attended the 1-Day Leadership Training for SK and Youth Leaders at Sabang Pavilion organized by the Local the Local Government Unit of Bulan through the Local Youth Development Office - LYDO headed by Ms. Charlene Lolos.

This training help them build their confidence, broaden their horizons, meet others from diverse backgrounds, learn the value of community service, and tap their own leadership potential.

These are only some of the many benefits of participating in youth leadership and development programs. Through this workshop, they learned important skills and responsibilities that will guide and prepare them for the future through their career and the society they live in.
