𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 23, 2025 (𝘛𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘥𝘢𝘺)

Today, the SSVP PCs, moderators, members, teachers, DC sisters came together with their partner families to celebrate a Christmas gathering filled with joy, love, and togetherness. The program opened with a group sharing activity that helped build deeper connections among the SSVP members and families from different barangays. As stories were shared, the room was filled with laughter, tears, and meaningful life lessons.

The celebration continued with elders and children happily joining in games and activities, creating moments of fun, bonding, and unity. The SSVP organization also distributed goods to the partner families, sharing not just material help but genuine care and compassion.

More than simply giving, today was about sharing hope, kindness, and smiles. This SSVP Christmas gathering reminded everyone that even the smallest acts of love can leave a lasting impact.

Yesterday, September 20, 2025, the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul – Bulan Particular Council, in collaboration with other religious organizations of Saint Louise de Marillac School of Bulan, Inc., including the Children of Mary (COM) and the LUISAS, held a joyful outreach program at 𝑹. 𝑮𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒂, 𝑩𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒏, 𝑺𝒐𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒈𝒐𝒏.

All chosen participants from the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, Children of Mary (COM), LUISAS, COP, LaMPs and DC Sister shared a meaningful and joyful experience with our partner families. The short program was filled with lively games and raffles for both the children and adults, with exciting prizes that brought smiles all around. It was a heartwarming celebration of unity and generosity, reflecting the spirit and values of our founder, Saint Vincent de Paul.

SAINT PIER GIORGIO FRASSATI IS NOW OFFICALLY CANONIZED | September 07, 2025

Today, we rejoice with the whole Church as Pier Giorgio Frassati is officially proclaimed Saint — forever remembered as “The Man of the Eight Beatitudes.”

As Vincentians, we celebrate his life of charity, service to the poor, and joyful witness of faith — values that echo the very heart of St. Vincent de Paul and St. Louise de Marillac. His motto, “Verso l’Alto!” (To the Heights!), challenges us to aim high not only in our studies, but also in our love for God and neighbor.

May St. Pier Giorgio Frassati inspire the whole Louisean community to live out the Beatitudes with joy, simplicity, and a heart for the poor.

In the spirit of being a Vincentian, the SLMSBI community through the initiative and leadership of the Student Coordinating Board (SCB), the COP, and the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SSVP) extended help to fire-affected families in JP Laurel, Bulan, Sorsogon.

We express our heartfelt gratitude to our generous donors, our students, the alumni especially batch 2000, and the SSVP Bulan Particular Council. This act of service reflects our shared commitment to live in hope and serve with love. May we continue to be an instruments of compassion to those in need. 💙

• Opening Ceremonies
• Keynote Address by Fr. Francisco M. Vargas, CM
• Youth Encounter led by Niño L. Estrada, National Youth Coordinator

This gathering is a reminder of our mission to serve the poor with faith, love, and unity in Christ. 🙏

While bringing Vincentian values close to the hearts of the students, they have always been a helping hand that serve as a hope to many of the adopted families. It was never a lonely battle against crisis and calamities because together, hand in hand, The Society of St. Vincent de Paul-Bulan Particular Council manifest the willingness and service that was always rooted from the one and true inspiration, St. Vincent de Paul.
