Changes such as deforestation, and industrialization, alter our environment. An example is this story which was inspired by real events. These are called migratory birds who normally swarm to find a partner or due to weather changes.

However, this became a problem for hundreds of thousands of these birds live in electric wires instead of trees and have been dropping poops on streets and people who passed by for almost a decade now. Batangas is one of the cities experiencing this common phenomenon. Hopefully, with this small platform will be able to reach those people with the capability to develop an action plan to correct misconceptions, protect these birds, and benefit from their regular appearances.

Sometimes, building homes affects others' homes.

According to Toner buzz. com, "31% of the earth’s surface is covered by forests, Only 18% of the world's forests are on land protected from deforestation." Forests from time to time are disappearing at an alarming rate.

Earth's land is a habitat for all living things and all should have an equal chance of having it as a home. As much as people have an advantage when it comes to machineries, technology and mobility to retain a homeland, animals as well are in need of their habitat and in a long run they opt to protect it as well.

The earth’s future depends on one's compassion towards another. Let's make Earth a home for all living things - nobody should get left behind.

What’s up with Sierra Madre?

Sierra Madre is Luzon's mighty backbone, shielding against typhoons. The Philippines' longest mountain range, boasting the largest rainforest, teeming with diverse flora and fauna. It's a crucial watershed for agriculture, an ancestral domain for the Agta-Dumagat-Remontado indigenous group, yet facing imminent threats.

Despite environmental laws and conservation efforts, Sierra Madre is endangered by human activities like illegal logging, mining, and the looming specter of the Kaliwa Dam's construction. We must act to protect this precious gem.

Plastic waste is a common problem on shorelines and coastal communities in the Philippines. Among the key factors contributing to this problem are our sachet economy, which chokes the Philippines' seas, and the ineffective implementation of existing solid waste management plans. The Philippines had the largest share of global plastic waste discarded in the ocean in 2019.

If we do not act now, our coasts and oceans will be filled with plastic trash. You too can make a difference. Let us use our voices to advocate for a cleaner environment.
