Ano ang ANTI-BURNING LAW?

Ayon sa Section 48 (par. 3) ng Republic Act No. 9003 o ang Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000, ang pagsusunog ng mga dahon, basura o anumang klaseng waste materials ay mahigpit nitong ipinagbabawal.

Ang sino mang lumabag sa batas na ito ay maaaring patawan ng parusang multa na may halagang 300-1000 piso o pagkakakulong ng isa hanggang labing-limang (1-15) araw, o pareho.

Amin po kayong hinihikayat na iwasan ang pagsusunog lalo na ngayong panahon ng tag-init upang mapangalagaan natin ang ating kalikasan at kapaligiran, at upang maiwasan ang mga hindi inaasahan malaking epekto nito sa ating pamayanan.

3 MARCH 2026 | | In celebration of World Wildlife Day 2026, a rescued Philippine Cobra (𝘕𝘢𝘫𝘢 𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘴) in Barangay Bigte was surrendered to the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO)-Norzagaray, Bulacan.

On the same day, the Wildlife Enforcement Officer (WEO) and personnel of MENRO Norzagaray successfully turned over the custody of the rescued Philippine Cobra to the Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) - DENR Tabang, Guiguinto, Bulacan.

We encourage our citizenry to protect our wildlife species not only for the present but also for the sake of future generations.🍃🌱

Every 3rd of March, we celebrate World Wildlife Day to recognize the beauty and importance of wild flora and fauna. This year, under the theme "𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑨𝒓𝒐𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒄 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒔: 𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒕𝒉, 𝑯𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒈𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑳𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒉𝒐𝒐𝒅𝒔," we honor the botanical wonders that provide us with more than just scenery—they provide us with life.

Our forests are a living pharmacy and a sanctuary of scents. From traditional healing practices to the essential oils and ingredients used in our daily routines, these wild species are vital to our culture and our economy. This celebration serves as a call to action to reaffirm our commitment to protect and conserve these plant species for future generations.

11 February 2026 🌱 | | The Municipality of Nozagaray, Bulacan, through the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, with the strong partnership of National University-MOA, successfully conducted a joint cleanup drive activity—one of the significant activities that protects and conserves our environment—at Sitio Suha, Barangay San Mateo, Norzagaray, Bulacan.

We highly expressed our deepest gratitude for the efforts and initiatives of the National University-MOA in helping us to clean our environment. Tinalakay dito ang mga batas tungkol sa pangangalaga ng kalikasan at likas na yaman tulad ng: RA9003 (Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000), RA6969 (Toxic Substances and Hazardous and Nuclear Wastes Control Act of 1990), RA9275(Philippine Clean Water Act of 2004), RA8749 (Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999), PD705 (Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines), RA9175 (Chainsaw Act of 2002), RA9147 (Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act), at ang mga Significant Environmental Events and Celebrations.

Ang layunin ng programang ito ay mas patibayin ang kaalaman at malasakit sa kalikasan ng mga kabataan mula sa tamang paghihiwalay ng bawat uri ng mga basura, pag-iwas sa pagkakalat ng anumang basura, at patungo sa pagiging disiplinadong
mamamayan ng bayan ng Norzagaray.
