Plushies for Hope is a charitable volunteer group that focuses on helping kids and elderlies battling long-term illness and disease. We also provide outreach programs to indigenous communities and help victims of natural calamities. Our efforts extend to feeding the homeless and providing them with basic necessities. A Heartfelt Thank You 🩷

A heartfelt thank you to Mam Grace, Mam Diane, Mam Jo, and AshDres for your generous gift of 3 boxes of milk for Natasha. Your kindness and generosity mean so much to her and to her family. 🩷🙏

Natasha has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and requires ongoing care and support. Her grandmother, Nanay Marissa, works as a utility worker in Barangay Tatalon to provide for Natasha’s daily needs and medical necessities. Despite the challenges they face, Nanay Marissa continues to work hard and do everything she can to care for her granddaughter.

Recently, their family was also severely affected by the heavy flooding, with floodwaters reaching approximately 6 feet high. This has made an already difficult situation even more challenging for them.

Thank you so much, Mam Grace, Mam Diane, Mam Jo, and AshDres, for your generosity, compassion, and loving hearts. May God bless you abundantly for helping Natasha and her family.

2ND TRANCHE OF AUGUST ALLOWANCE FOR OUR SCHOLARS

Another step forward for our scholars this August! We are grateful to share that the second tranche of their monthly allowance has been released, with each scholar receiving ₱2,915.

With this release, our scholars have now received a total of ₱4,915 each for August 2026, combining the first and second tranches.

This additional support will help them with their daily transportation, meals, school requirements, projects, and other expenses as they continue pursuing their education.

Behind every allowance are donors and monthly sponsors who choose to invest in the dreams and future of these deserving students. and we are deeply grateful to everyone who continues to make our Plushies For Hope Scholarship Program possible.

Sari-Sari Store, Bigasan & Cash Assistance for Nanay Becca

We sincerely apologize for the late update on this assistance. We were supposed to visit Nanay Becca last week, but the continuous heavy rains made it difficult and unsafe for us to travel to Bataan. We are grateful for her patience and understanding while we worked around the weather conditions.

A little throwback: back in January, Plushies For Hope was able to build a new home for Nanay Becca. 🩷 It was a meaningful project for us because we wanted to give her and her family a safer and more stable place to live.

We also provided Nanay Becca with a small sari-sari store (tindahan ng laruan) so she could have a source of income without having to leave home. Unfortunately, she was later informed that she could no longer sell from the store because the school had prohibited the activity.

Recently, we also learned that Nanay Becca was facing another difficult situation. Aside from her medical condition and her daughter's medical needs her landlord had asked her to settle her outstanding obligations and bills. Since the land is not owned by Nanay Becca and no source of income available, this placed additional financial pressure on her and her family.

Because of this, we decided to extend another round of assistance not only to help her with her immediate needs, but also to help her regain a sustainable source of income.

Through the generosity and continued support of our donors, we were able to pay her outsanding obligations to her landlord. Aside from this we were able to provide 2000 cash assistance, 10000 worth of livelihood which includes a Bigasan, and items for her sari-sari store. Our hope is that these livelihood opportunities will help Nanay Becca earn regularly and gradually become more financially stable.

For us, assistance should not only be about giving temporary relief. Whenever possible, we want to help create opportunities that can provide families with a long-term and sustainable source of income.

PLEASE DON'T SKIP WITHOUT SHARING

The recent Habagat, typhoon, and heavy flooding have left many families struggling to recover. For some, even putting food on the table has become another challenge after losing income, belongings, and basic necessities to the floods.

This is why Plushies For Hope is launching a fundraising drive to provide 5kg of rice to families affected by the recent flooding in Apalitm, Pampanga and Calumpit Bulacan.

For only ₱250, you can help provide one 5kg pack of rice to one family. Every donation, no matter how small, can help put food on a family’s table and remind them that they are not alone in this difficult time.

You may also choose to sponsor more than one family:
₱500 = 2 families
₱750 = 3 families
₱1,000 = 4 families

We are hoping to reach as many affected families as possible. If you cannot donate, sharing this post is already a big help. Your share may reach someone who can sponsor a family.

IN PHOTOS: Financial Assistance for Nanay Aida and Warrior Lenlen — ₱22,649.05

Today, we had the pleasure of finally visiting Nanay Aida and Warrior Lenlen and personally delivering the financial assistance raised for their family.

We sincerely apologize for the delay in visiting and providing the assistance. The recent heavy rains and typhoon caused flooding in several areas, making the roads difficult and, at times, inaccessible. We are grateful for their patience and understanding.

Through the generosity of our donors and supporters, we were able to provide a total of ₱22,649.05 in assistance.

From this amount, ₱15,000 was given in cash to help settle their two months of overdue rent and utility bills, with an additional advance payment covering two more months of rent. As requested by the family, we also provided additional cash assistance for their daily needs and groceries.

Every amount may seem small on its own, but when combined with the kindness of many people, it becomes a meaningful source of relief for a family going through a difficult time.

As of today, we are still waiting for Lenlen’s scheduled operation. In the meantime, Lenlen continues to undergo monthly sclerotherapy as part of her ongoing treatment.

To everyone who donated, shared our posts, prayed for Lenlen, and continued to support their family maraming, maraming salamat po. Your kindness is helping Nanay Aida and Lenlen get through one day at a time.

We will continue to provide updates regarding Lenlen’s condition and operation as soon as we receive further information.
