A Community based Alumni Association to promote LEADERSHIP, FRIENDSHIP & SERVICE

It was on the early 1990’s where APO members from Buhi, Cam. Sur started to gather together to render service and celebrate the International Founding Anniversary. We were formerly named as APO ALUMNI ASSOCIATION BUHI DIRECTORATE on Dec. 16, 1998. To formally be recognized to APO National Council Office , on Jan 1, 2011 it was discussed and agreed by the body to rename the Alpha Phi Omega Alumni

Association Buhi Directorate to Buhi APO Alumni Association (BAPOAA) Petitioning Alumni Group. And finally , on April 18, 2015, BAPOAA 304 was officially recognized during the Dumaguete NEB and BOD meeting as a Community based Alumni Association. And to date we are continuing to grow to promote our 3 Cardinal principles of LEADERSHIP, FRIENDSHIP & SERVICE.

💙💛 BAPOAA LIBRENG SAKAY PROJECT 2026 💛🧡

As we successfully conclude the first day of School Year 2026-2027, the Buhi Alpha Phi Omega Alumni Association (BAPOAA 304) extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped make our "Libreng Sakay Project" a meaningful success.

What began as a simple desire to assist students on their first day of classes became a powerful demonstration of the APO principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. Through the generosity, dedication, and cooperation of many individuals, we were able to provide free transportation assistance to students and help ease the burden of their families.

Our sincerest appreciation goes to all our generous Brothers whose donations, pledges, and support made this project possible. Your willingness to share your blessings enabled us to serve more students and expand our routes to reach those in need.

We likewise extend our deepest gratitude to the tricycle drivers who partnered with us and safely transported our student passengers to their respective schools. Special thanks to TODA Poblacion President Ray Espiritu for his invaluable leadership, coordination, and support throughout the implementation of this project.

To our Brothers who were on the ground monitoring the operations, especially our VP Internal, Bro. Noli Alabastro, PRO, Bro. Justin Sumalabe, and all the Brods who rendered their time, effort, and resources, thank you for embodying the true spirit of volunteerism and brotherhood. Your commitment and sacrifice ensured the smooth and successful conduct of this community service.

This project is more than just providing free rides—it is about giving hope, encouraging education, building community, and showing our young learners that there are people who genuinely care about their future.

Above all, we offer our deepest thanks to Almighty God for His guidance, protection, and countless blessings. Without His grace, none of this would have been possible.
