Faculty Meeting: Pre-Semester Planning

Faculty members of Asian Christian University convened to ensure that everyone is on track and to address any questions ahead of the start of the semester. Also addressed in the meeting were syllabus distribution, academic calendar details, proctor assignments and discussions about SBL citation style standardization and the use of Zoom and Google Classroom for teaching, along with plans for faculty collaboration and communication.

The lectureship week culminated with a call to action during the evening worship services on both congregations in Macau. Bro. Marson Lumagason's lesson from Colossians 3:23 ignited a passion to transform Macau's workplaces a testament to our faith.

In solemn recognition and celebration to the visit and invaluable services of our faculty members during the 1st Macau Churches of Christ Fellowship and Lectureship, the brethren in Macau awarded them with certificates and tokens of appreciation.
Likewise, we extend our deepest gratitude to the leaders and brethren from both congregations, for their hospitality and exceptional generosity.

What an incredible day of unity and spiritual growth in the joint worship service of the Macau churches of Christ today! We are happy to witness our graduates and faculty working together and leading the service together. Atty. Junas Sagurit, our very own President, taught and explained "Jesus in the Midst of Plenty" based on Matthew 16:26, urging everyone to seek what truly matters. While brother Kevin Kim Collado preached and guided everyone in "Navigating Cultural Differences, Building Bridges of Understanding and Respect" (1 Corinthians 9:19-23), offering helpful insights for everyone to engage more meaningfully with the world around us.

Lecture | Day 4: Brother Arnel Omanito, dived deep into Romans 12:1-2, for the topic, "Faith in the Fast Lanes," discussing how to stay grounded in the faith while living our fast-paced lives.

Lecture | Day 3: ACU President, Atty. Junas delivered a powerful discussion on "Keeping Jesus First in the City of Temptations" based on Matthew 6:24, reminding everyone to make Jesus our priority, even when surrounded by worldly distractions.

Lecture | Day 2: Kevin Kim Collado discussed about "The Power of Prayer," unpacking what it really means from Paul's perspective and the early Thessalonian Christians. He also offered practical ways to prioritize prayer amidst busy lives in Macau, guided by 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18.
