Today, MOO Buenavista successfully conducted 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗚𝗛𝗔 𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗔 in support of the POO’s initiative “𝐿𝒶𝓀𝒶𝓃𝑔 𝐸𝓈𝓀𝓌𝑒𝓁𝒶”. This initiative empowers children who are not attending school to regain motivation, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with their dreams through guidance, family support, and meaningful engagement.

Stories were shared, voices were heard, and hope was renewed. More than just an activity, it became a space for children to believe in themselves again and take steps back toward their education.

Together, we continue working to bring every child back to school and help them stay on track for a brighter future. 📚✨

Bringing education closer, one step at a time.

Earlier today, March 24, 2026, the successful conduct of LAKANG ESKWELA at Sitio Linao-Linao, Brgy. Olave, Buenavista highlighted a shared commitment to reach every child and leave no learner behind. This initiative focuses on identifying and engaging Not Attending School (NAS) children, understanding their situation, and working closely with their parents to encourage their return to school.

LAKANG ESKWELA serves as a bridge between families and the education system—addressing barriers such as lack of awareness, motivation, or support. Through home visits, dialogue, and guidance, parents are empowered to prioritize their children’s education, while learners are given renewed hope and direction.

Its impact goes beyond enrollment. It strengthens family involvement, promotes the value of education, and opens opportunities for children to build a better future—proving that sometimes, all it takes is one meaningful step to change a life.

Empowering communities through informed action.

The Municipal Operations Office (MOO) – Buenavista successfully conducted a Gender and Development (GAD) Mapping and Assessment last March 18,2026 with Pantawid Parent Leaders and selected grantees of Brgy. Lower Olave. The activity was enriched by the presence of Mam Ophel Egdamin, Womens Focal, who served as the Resource Person.

This initiative plays a vital role in identifying gender-related needs, gaps, and strengths within the community. Through this process, participants gain deeper awareness of gender issues and are better equipped to promote equality, inclusivity, and responsive programs at the grassroots level.

By strengthening the capacity of Parent Leaders and beneficiaries, this activity helps ensure that future interventions are more targeted, inclusive, and impactful—building a community where everyone has equal opportunities to thrive.

On March 13, 2026, advocacy activities were conducted in celebration of Women’s Month and in support of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women at Sitio Dalao-an, Barangay Rizal. The activity was facilitated by the MOO staff in coordination with the LGU VAWC focal person Mam Ofel Egdamin, aiming to raise awareness on women’s rights and promote the prevention of violence against women in the community

LOOK | The MOO Buenavista successfully conducted the PANAGTIGUM 2025 Municipal Wide Parent Leaders Meeting cm Team Building on December 15, 2025, at Old Hatchery Beach Resort, Manapa, Buenavista. The activity was participated in by 175 Parent Leaders from different barangays of Buenavista.

The program was graced by our Cluster Link, Ms. Janice Moñiza, RSW, who shared valuable insights on Leadership Styles, emphasizing its importance as Parent Leaders continue to guide and lead their respective parent groups.

The activity was capped with fun and engaging team-building games, fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and strengthened partnerships among the Parent Leaders and staff.
