The Provincial Government of Bohol, under the leadership of Governor Aris Aumentado, through the Bohol Employment and Placement Office – Public Employment Service Office (BEPO–PESO), participated in the Career Guidance 2026: Career Pathways and Curriculum Orientation on February 16, 2026, at Cangawa National High School in Buenavista, Bohol.

Representatives from the Department of Labor and Employment – Bohol Field Office (DOLE) joined the activity, reinforcing support for youth employment and workforce development. Anchored on the theme “Bridging Ambition and Action,” the event gathered 131 students, educators, and local stakeholders to discuss career pathways, curriculum alignment, and current labor market trends.

DOLE provided insights on in-demand skills and government programs for young job seekers. Meanwhile, BEPO–PESO highlighted its core services, including job matching, career coaching, and local employment facilitation across the province, a UNESCO Global Geopark.

The initiative supports the province’s Strategic Governance Roadmap, advancing inclusive growth, human capital development, and sustainable employment by building skilled, competitive, and future-ready Bol-anons.
