May 18, 2026 | 1 Dhul Hijjah 1447

“مَا مِنْ أَيَّامٍ الْعَمَلُ الصَّالِحُ فِيهَا أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ”
“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these (10) days.”
- Hadith (Sahih Al-Bukhari)

*وَالْفَجْرِ ۝ وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ*
“By the dawn. And by the ten nights."
- Qur-an (89:1-2)

May our deeds be accepted, our sins forgiven, and our duas answered. Ameen 🤲

BREAKING NEWS | The crescent moon for Dhul Hijjah 1447 has been sighted in Saudi Arabia. Subsequently, the blessed month of Dhul Hijjah will commence tonight, and ‘Eid al-Adha will be observed on Wednesday 27th May 2026, in shā Allāh.

May Allāh ﷻ grant the hujjāj a safe, accepted and spiritually uplifting Hajj, ease every stage of their journey, and return them home forgiven like the day they were born. Aameen.

May He ﷻ also allow us all to maximise the blessed first ten days of Dhul Hijjah through dhikr, fasting, du‘ā, charity and righteous deeds, and may He accept all of our worship and efforts. Aameen.

Sharing a beautiful Sunnah for breaking our fast. Here is a meaningful reminder to keep in mind.

Authentic dua for breaking the fast (Iftar), as narrated in Sunan Abu Dawood:

ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ العُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الأجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ

Dhahaba al-zama’u wabtallati al-‘urooq, wa thabata al-ajru in sha’ Allah.

Translation:
“The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is assured, if Allah wills.”

May Allah accept our fasts, forgive our sins, and grant us His mercy. Ameen!

The 'Istiqbal Al-Ramadhan' event held last February 11 at the DMASR.MNHS Gymnasium was a resounding success, bringing together the entire student body for a day of spiritual preparation. This significant gathering was realized through the unwavering dedication of the ISAL Teachers and the full support of Principal Asnawi D. Raki-in, J.D. The ISSC organization worked hand-in-hand with the faculty to ensure every detail was perfectly executed for the benefit of the students.

The program featured a solemn Quran reading by ISSC President Norsaif R. Macaombao, followed by Ustadh Aleem Ahmad Mamintal, who delivered opening remarks filled with insightful wisdom on being a righteous Muslim. All speakers, including guest speakers Aleem Talha A. Ulama and Aleem Habib Hadji Salem, were introduced by Ustadha Aisah T. Aminoding. A major highlight was the lectures by the two guest speakers: "Essential Practices During the Month of Ramadan" by Aleem Talha A. Ulama and the "Etiquette of Ramadan" by Aleem Habib Hadji Salem. Gratitude is extended to Ustadha Norhata Aminodin for the Q&A sessions and Aleema Zolaica Maca-ayao for the closing remarks. Special recognition goes to the Master of Ceremony and ISSC Adviser, Ustadh Norodin T. Batara, for his expert guidance throughout the day.

The time has come, the blessed month that all Muslims have been waiting for, a month of prayer, reflection, and countless blessings. As we begin our fasting tomorrow, February 19, 2026 (Thursday), may our hearts be filled with faith and gratitude. May this sacred month bring peace, strengthen our belief, and fill our lives with kindness, unity, and compassion.

From the (ISSC) Isal Student Supreme Council, we sincerely wish everyone a blessed and meaningful Ramadhan. We also take this moment to express our heartfelt apologies for any misunderstandings and for any shortcomings we may have had as your officers. Maaf to everyone, and thank you for your understanding and support.

May this holy month strengthen our connection with Allah and inspire us to show kindness to one another. Let us use this time to grow spiritually, spread compassion, and support each other as one united community. Once again, Ramadhan Mubarak everyone!!

Assalamu 'alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh!

JUST IN | The Bangsamoro Darul-Ifta’-BARMM formally pronounces that 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒆𝒅 tonight. Therefore, the 1st day of Ramadhan will be on Ramadhan 01, 1447H | February 19, 2026 (Thursday). This result has been properly conducted by the official Moon Sighting Team spearheaded by the Bangsamoro M***i, Sheikh Abdulrauf A. Guialani.

O Allah! Save me (from sins) in the month, and make me reach Ramadan, and accept from me the (worships) of this month. اَللّٰهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِي مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، وَسَلِّمْ رَمَضَانَ لِي، وَتَسَلَّمْهُ مِنِّي مُتَقَبَّلًا
