It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Brod. Omar Lusico of Alpha Phi Omega – Xi Zeta Chapter, Batch 2003 B. His unexpected departure has left a great pain in our hearts that words can hardly express. He was not only a brother in the fraternity, but also a true friend, a companion in service, and someone whose kindness and dedication will always be remembered.

In moments like this, we are reminded that brotherhood is not only formed in good times, but is strengthened in times of grief. Today, we mourn together, pray together, and stand as one family as we bid farewell to a brother who will forever remain in our memories and in our hearts.

For those who wanted to bid farewell to Brod. Omar, His wake is located at B17 L20 PH2 Beverly Homes, Prenza 2, Marilao, Bulacan

We humbly ask everyone to offer prayers for the eternal repose of his soul and to pray for comfort and strength for his family and loved ones as they face this painful loss.

Gone from our sight, but never from our brotherhood. Rest in peace, Brod. Omar.🕊️🕊️🕊️

A Century of Leadership, Friendship, and Service

From Dec. 16, 1925 to Dec. 16, 2025 — 100 years of brotherhood, 100 years of Service, and 100 years of making difference.

Alpha Phi Omega Centennial Celebration kicked off with a Thanksgiving Mass and the service initiative "Libreng Kape sa Simbang Gabi,” honoring a century of leadership, friendship, and service.

The celebration continued with a Motorcade at 2:00 Pm and a vibrant gathering at Tres Amores Restobar, the celebration formally opened with an opening prayer and the National Anthem. All brothers and Sisters present renewed their commitment through the Loyalty Pledge led by Brod. Junilo Estaron Ablay, Grand Chancellor APO Xi Zeta Collegiate Chapter, accompanied by insightful words from Brod. Gil Mones Jr., a Senior Alumni Member, reminding us all why Alpha Phi Omega continues to stand strong after 100 years and highlighting that our generation was lucky to have been able to celebrate this momentous occasion, and an inspirational message given by Sis. Grace Manlapas, inspiring everyone to carry forward the APO legacy.

Attendees captured memories in a batch-by-batch pictorial, shared a hearty dinner and joined the fun with games, raffles and a lively Kuratsa dance, the proceeds dedicated to building the APO Landmark project.

And of course this celebration was made possible and successful by APO Borongan Alumni Association (Hamorawon), APO XI Zeta Alumni Association, and APO XI Zeta Collegiate Chapter.
