It's that time of year.
The time where we pretend chocolates are signs of affection, that a hundred fifty plus bouquet won't wilt in two days.
It's a beautiful absurd game where we panic over dinner reservations, picnic spots, and swear boldly, "I don't need anything," while secretly hoping for that Cup of Joe Stardust Concert.
Valentine's, the day where men feel panic more than a game of basketball. Valentine's, the day where women sit by windows and doorways, with even more eagerness than an early morning of a voting day.
Valentine's; the day of love, Valentine's; the day of couples, Valentine's; day of happiness.
