Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology (PRB), led by Chairman Atty. Ramil Gabao, together with Board Members Dr. Warren Corpuz and Dr. Lani Palmones, graced the Region VIII Joint Oathtaking Ceremony in partnership with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) Region VIII, headed by Regional Director Armond M. Englis, and the Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines (PCAP) Region VIII, under the leadership of Regional Governor Dr. Eleazar S. Balbada, with the esteemed presence of PCAP National President Dr. Gerry J. Caño.

The ceremony was successfully held for the February 2026 Criminologist Licensure Examination passers, witnessed by their proud parents and families at the Leyte Convention Complex in Palo, Leyte on April 18, 2026. The event’s highlight was the recognition and awarding of exemplary passers and top-performing Criminology schools in the region—celebrating excellence, dedication, and outstanding achievement in the field of criminology.

The Professional Regulatory Board of Criminology (PRB), headed by Chairman Atty. Ramil Gabao, together with Dr. Warren Corpuz and Dr. Lani Palmones, in coordination with Professional Regulation Commission Region VIII represented by Mr. Nilo Radam, and the Professional Criminologists Association of the Philippines Region VIII led by Regional Council Governor Dr. Eleazar S. Balbada, conducted a two-day inspection on April 16–17, 2026, across selected criminology schools in Leyte.

The institutions visited included Holy Spirit Foundation College Inc., Sto. Niño College of Ormoc, Abuyog Community College, and Burauen Community College.

This initiative aimed to ensure the delivery of quality criminology education, strengthen academic standards, and ultimately enhance the performance of graduates in the Criminology Licensure Examination.

To ensure a smooth and orderly flow of entry during the Joint PCAP, PRC, and PRB Oathtaking Ceremony, all attendees are kindly advised to follow the directional arrows assigned according to your family name upon arrival.

Please present your Oath Form (Panunumpa) with unique QR Code at the designated entrance for proper verification.

In addition, all oathtakers are required to accomplish the official oathtaking link on or before the specified deadline to facilitate the claiming of your PCAP ID and Certificate at the venue.

The gate will be open from 10:30 AM to 12:30 NN on April 18, 2026.

📌 IMPORTANT REMINDERS

• Please ensure that you have accomplished the required link for your PCAP ID and Membership registration to facilitate claiming your PCAP ID and Certificate at the venue.

•Print two (2) copies of your Oath Form (Panunumpa) with the unique QR Code generated from your LERIS account.

• Bring the printed oath forms to the venue, as these will be collected by PRC personnel to officially tag your attendance.

• After the ceremony, you may proceed with your scheduled appointment at the PRC for the processing of your Professional Identification Card (License).
