BAARC Boracay Animal Adoption and Rescue Center

26/09/2026

This September, Mhaze is taking on the Berlin Marathon with a purpose bigger than the finish line. ❤️🐾

Through , she is raising funds for animal welfare organizations in the Philippines, including BAARC — and we are incredibly grateful to be one of the organizations she has chosen to support.

Here in Boracay, our team works every day to rescue animals in need, provide food and veterinary care, support spay and neuter efforts, and give rescued animals a safe place to recover while we work toward a better future for them.

Every donation raised through Mhaze’s marathon journey helps organizations like ours continue this work. If you would like to support her run and help animals in need in the Philippines, please consider donating. ❤️

Thank you, Mhaze, for using your journey to help animals and the people working to protect them. We’ll be cheering you on all the way! 🏃‍♀️🐾🇵🇭

UPDATE: MANGO’S BROKEN LEG 🐾❤️‍🩹

Mango had an X-ray yesterday, which confirmed that her leg is broken. Based on the healing around the injury, the accident likely happened about a month ago.

For now, Mango will finish her medication while we monitor her condition. Once her medication is completed, she’ll undergo the next step in her treatment, which is the amputation of her injured leg.

Despite everything she’s been through, Mango is hanging in there. She still has a long road ahead, and we want to give her the care she deserves. ❤️‍🩹

Will you help Mango continue her journey toward recovery? 🐾

If you’d like to support Mango and our other rescued animals, donations can be sent through:

Every donation, no matter how small, helps us continue providing food, medication, veterinary care, and treatment for animals like Mango. Thank you for being part of her journey. ❤️

Happy Birthday to our Steady Support, Tobi! 🎉🎂🐾

Tobi is one of those people who quietly and consistently shows up for BAARC and our animals. Whether it’s a fun beach walk, a regular shelter shift, handing out treats and love, or helping us get an animal to the vet when something goes wrong, he’s always willing to help. ❤️

He’s been there for some especially important moments — helping get Beyoncé to the vet when she needed an emergency operation, bringing Isla and her puppies in for a checkup, and making sure his buddy Snappy got to the Boracay Vet Mission to be neutered. ✂️🐶🐾

But what we appreciate most is how much genuine love he gives our animals. He makes sure they get the attention, affection and care they deserve, and Snappy in particular seems to have found himself a pretty special friend. 🥹❤️

From the happy days to the stressful ones, thank you, Tobi, for continuing to show up with kindness, patience and a big heart. We’re so grateful to have you as part of our BAARC family. Happy Birthday! 🎂💙🎉🐾

WHAT REALLY HAPPENED TO PE**ER’S PE**ER? ❤️‍🩹

When we first rescued Pe**er from the pound, his p***s was already sticking out — and that’s how he got his name.

His condition, known as paraphimosis, has caused repeated infections despite cleaning, ointments, antibiotics, and multiple surgeries. Unfortunately, the problem kept returning.

This time, Pe**er had another surgery and has been staying at Neko-Inu Vet Clinic for more than a month so he can properly heal and be closely monitored. ❤️‍🩹

🐾 PE**ER’S BILL UPDATE

Current bill: ₱25,570
Donations collected: ₱6,937.45
Remaining balance: ₱18,632.55

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated, and to Neko-Inu Vet Clinic for generously giving us discounts and helping with Pe**er’s care. 🙏

He still needs continued treatment and monitoring, and every donation helps. ❤️

GCash: 09674624773 (K*V)

Please help Pe**er get through the rest of his recovery. 🐾❤️‍🩹

WE NEED YOUR HELP 🐾❤️‍🩹

We currently have 7 rescued animals in need of medical care. Some are already in vet care, while others need ongoing treatment at the shelter. With so many cases at once, their medical bills are quickly adding up.

We want to give each of them the care they need, but we can’t do this alone. ❤️

🐾 LOKI — Recently underwent surgery for his broken leg and is now recovering with continued medical care.

🐾 RAMBO — Rescued in critical condition, extremely underweight, covered in fleas and ticks, and with a painful leg wound. He is now receiving treatment and fighting to recover.

🐾 PE**ER — A longtime BAARC resident who recently needed surgery for a serious pe**le problem. He is recovering at Neko-Inu, but his bill continues to grow.

🐾 MANGO — Suffering from a badly broken and infected leg for weeks. She is now safe at AARRC and needs further treatment.

🐾 POL POL — Fighting a serious condition and needs ongoing treatment, including chemotherapy.

🐾 TWO PUPPIES — Found with maggots and urgently need treatment, medication, and close care.

Every donation, big or small, helps with their vet bills, medicines, procedures, and recovery. Together, we can give them the chance to heal and have the better life they deserve. ❤️‍🩹

ISLA’S (MAMA DOG) CHECK-UP UPDATE 🐾

Sweet Isla had her check-up today. ❤️

The vet gave her the vitamins and treatment she needed, and we’re now waiting for the detailed follow-up from her bloodwork results. Fingers crossed for good news! 🙏🥹

A huge thank you to everyone who helped sponsor Isla’s check-up and treatment. Your support means so much to her and her puppies. ❤️

Once Isla is fully recovered, we hope to have her spayed and vaccinated to help keep her healthy and prevent another pregnancy. 🐶💕

We’re also looking for monthly sponsors to help with Isla’s ongoing food, medical care, vaccinations, and future spay. Every little bit helps. 🥹❤️
