✨ 𝗜𝗡𝗦𝗣𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 & 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗨𝗥𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗘𝗫𝗖𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘

September 23, 2026, 𝙅𝙋𝙄𝘼 - 𝙈𝙋𝙎𝙐 joined the rest of CABMIT at the Mayaen Sports Complex for an empowering session on 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙐𝙥 𝘿𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 & 𝘽𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙋𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜.

The event opened with warm welcoming remarks from CABMIT Dean 𝘿𝙧. 𝙀𝙡𝙫𝙞𝙣 𝙋. 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙤. Followed by a message of our University President 𝘿𝙧. 𝙀𝙙𝙜𝙖𝙧 𝙂. 𝘾𝙪𝙚, represented by 𝘿𝙧. 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙡 𝘽. 𝙎𝙞𝙖-𝙚𝙙 delivered an inspiring message, encouraging students to step up, innovate, and create future-ready ideas.

The morning featured valuable insights from our international resource speakers. 𝘿𝙧. 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙝𝙪𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙖𝙞 emphasized that in startup planning, your goal is not to predict the future perfectly, but rather to show that you deeply understand the business. Building on that, 𝘿𝙧. 𝙍𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙢𝙞 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙙𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙮 highlighted that a project idea becomes much stronger when you can explain what the data says, what it means, and what you will do next.

Following these sessions, student innovators showcased their business ideas across different categories. With an impressive display of ingenuity, our Accountancy students, 𝘼𝙣𝙞-𝙋𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙩 as project of 𝙆𝙖𝙮𝙡𝙖 𝙅𝙖𝙣𝙚 𝙒. 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 emerged as the Category Winner and was crowned 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙞𝙤𝙣, with 𝙃𝙖𝙗𝙞𝙇𝙖𝙗 project of 𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖 𝘽. 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙩 securing 𝟭𝙨𝙩 𝙍𝙪𝙣𝙣𝙚𝙧-𝙐𝙥. The event concluded with insightful closing remarks from 𝘿𝙧. 𝘼𝙧𝙚𝙡 𝘽. 𝙎𝙞𝙖-𝙚𝙙, wrapping up a memorable day of entrepreneurship, learning, and student success.

✨ 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗗𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗖𝗨𝗟𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘𝗦, 𝗕𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗗𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗚𝗟𝗢𝗕𝗔𝗟 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗦: Advancing Business, Professional Practice and Technology through International Exchange

Yesterday, September 22, 2026 , students gathered alongside international students for an inspiring Cultural Exchange session designed to explore how business, technology, and workplace practices work across different parts of the world.

Proudly represented our chapter, 𝗝𝗣𝗜𝗔-𝗠𝗣𝗦𝗨 officers 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙮𝙡𝙚 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙚 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙚𝙗, 𝙇𝙖𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞 𝙍𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝘽𝙪𝙡𝙬𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣, 𝘼𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚 𝙉𝙖𝙥𝙖, 𝙅𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙘𝙖 𝘾𝙤𝙙𝙤-𝙤𝙜, and 𝙍𝙤𝙡𝙮𝙣𝙣𝙚 𝙂𝙪𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙡𝙤𝙨 actively joined in the discussion.

One of the highlights of the activity was the Accountancy Discussion led by BSA Chairperson 𝙅𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙉. 𝘿𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣, 𝘾𝙋𝘼, titled "𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝘼𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝘾𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚𝙨: 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙋𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙋𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨." She shared insights into how money is influenced by personal discipline and societal situations in ways that they can both be similar and varying from across different cultures.

The session featured 3 more discussions from the different chairpersons of the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Office Administration.

Each discussion from the department chairpersons was culminated through games and open discussion where each activity was designed to help the MPSU students learn and connect with the student delegates from 𝘾𝙂𝘾 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙈𝙤𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙞, 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙖.

Understanding how money, business, and technology work across different cultures gives us a stronger foundation as future accounting professionals.

𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗟𝗟𝗜𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 & 𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗔-𝗗𝗥𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗡 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗖𝗛

Stepping into the future of business and technology, students from the 𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙧 𝙤𝙛 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝘼𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙮 (𝘽𝙎𝘼) along with other participants from the College of Accountancy, Business Management and Information Technology (𝘾𝘼𝘽𝙈𝙄𝙏) with faculty and staff, gathered at the 𝘼𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙣 𝙃𝙖𝙡𝙡 of the MPSU for an academic engagement session focused on building financial literacy and embracing digital innovation.

The event opened with welcoming remarks from CABMIT Dean 𝘿𝙧. 𝙀𝙡𝙫𝙞𝙣 𝙋. 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙤, followed by an inspiring message from University President 𝘿𝙧. 𝙀𝙙𝙜𝙖𝙧 𝙂. 𝘾𝙪𝙚. In his address, Dr. Cue challenged the academic community to step out of their comfort zones, embrace technology, and develop forward-thinking programs that can lead the way for new opportunities.

The gathering featured two insightful learning sessions designed to prepare students for the modern professional world. 𝘿𝙧. 𝙏𝙧𝙖𝙣 𝙋𝙝𝙪𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙃𝙖𝙞, a Lecturer and the Program Secretary of Finance and Banking Program of Hutech University, Vietnam led the first session on making smart financial decisions, emphasizing that managing money is about creating future opportunities rather than just handling numbers.

Later on, 𝘿𝙧. 𝙍𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙢𝙞 𝘾𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙙𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙮, an Assistant Professor of the School of Engineering and Technology Business Administration of CGC University Mohali, India conducted the second session on making data research smarter, guiding participants on how to effectively analyze, visualize, and use data to draw strong, evidence-based conclusions.

Bringing together resource speakers from different cultural backgrounds, the event also served as a valuable opportunity for 𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙨-𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙚𝙭𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚, inspiring participants to broaden their global perspectives and share meaningful ideas. The activity was a resounding success. Thank you to our speakers, organizers, and participants for a day of learning. 𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙪𝙨 𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙥 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙤𝙜𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧!

✨💙𝗝𝗣𝗜𝗔 𝗛𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗦 𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗙𝗟𝗔𝗚 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗡𝗬 ✨

Earlier today, September 14, 2026 the 𝙅𝙋𝙄𝘼 – 𝙈𝙋𝙎𝙐 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙧 had the honor of hosting the weekly University Flag-Raising Ceremony at the Admin Lobby. The morning program brought together students, faculty, and staff to start the week honoring our national pride with unity. The assembly featured an inspiring Bible sharing from Ma'am 𝙅𝙚𝙣𝙞𝙛𝙚𝙧 𝙉. 𝘿𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣, 𝘾𝙋𝘼, followed by a special intermission performance from BSA student 𝙅𝙝𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙧𝙮 𝘾. 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙖𝙧. During the program, 𝙖𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨 were also officially endorsed to the university library.

We also proudly honored our BSA students who did an amazing job at the Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP), where MPSU students proudly made it to the Top 5! 𝙈𝙨. 𝙆𝙮𝙡𝙖 𝙅𝙖𝙣𝙚 𝙒. 𝙇𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣 finished as First Runner-Up and won both the Green Excellence Award and the Most Sustainable Business Award. 𝙈𝙨. 𝘾𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙖 𝘽. 𝘾𝙖𝙗𝙗𝙞𝙜𝙖𝙩 also made it as one of the Top 5 finalists. We also want to thank 𝙈𝙨. 𝙒𝙖𝙮𝙣𝙚𝙡𝙮𝙣 𝙏. 𝙆𝙞𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙮𝙤𝙣𝙜, who participated in the program.

As we step into another week, let us carry this spirit of excellence, service, and unity in everything we do! Thank you to the whole MPSU community for joining us today. Have a productive and meaningful week ahead, MPSU!

𝙅𝙋𝙄𝘼 - 𝘿𝘼𝙔 𝟯 𝙃𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙇𝙄𝙂𝙃𝙏𝙎: 𝗚𝗥𝗜𝗟𝗟, 𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗟𝗟, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗜𝗭𝗘!

And that is a wrap on three amazing days of games and fun! Last night, September 5, 2026, the entire university wrapped up the 2026 MPSU Intramural Sports Fest.

To close out the event, everyone gathered for "𝙂𝙧𝙞𝙡𝙡, 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙡, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙤𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚: 𝙈𝙋𝙎𝙐 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩'𝙨 𝘽𝘽𝙌 𝙉𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩." Serving as our official closing activity, it was the perfect time for all of us to enjoy good BBQ, catch up with friends, and celebrate together after an exciting three days.

A big thank you to all our JPIAN athletes, performers, student volunteers, and supporters who gave their best from Day 1 to Day 3. We are so proud of the sportsmanship shown by the Blazing Phoenix!

𝗠𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟱 𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗘𝗣-𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗔𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗘𝗦

Two students from Mountain Province State University (MPSU) earned spots in the Top 5 during the YEP–Project MARITES Final Business Coaching held from September 1–4, 2026, at The Orchard Hotel in Baguio City.

The Youth Entrepreneurship Program (YEP)–Project MARITES is a youth entrepreneurship initiative launched by the Commission on Higher Education–Cordillera Administrative Region (CHED-CAR) in partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry–Cordillera Administrative Region (DTI-CAR), with support from CHED-UniFAST. The program aims to empower young entrepreneurs by providing opportunities for students to develop their entrepreneurial skills, business ideas, innovation, and leadership.

The 2026 batch brought together student participants from various Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across the Cordillera Administrative Region, including State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and private colleges and universities in Baguio City. Through business coaching, mentorship, and other learning opportunities, the program equipped participants with knowledge and skills to develop sustainable and innovative business ventures.

Out of 37 student participants, two MPSU students proudly made it to the Top 5. Both fourth-year students from the Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA) program, Ms. Kyla Jane W. Langbayan emerged as the First Runner-Up and was also recognized with the Green Excellence Award and the Most Sustainable Business Award. Meanwhile, Ms. Crisanta B. Cabbigat also secured a place among the Top 5 finalists.

Other participants from the university include Ms. Elizabeth B. Bastian, Ms. Rhodessa L. Coteng, and Ms. Waynelyn T. Kimmayong. All five MPSU participants are beneficiaries of the Tulong Dunong Program(TDP) and were accompanied by Scholarships and Grants Office Coordinator Mr. Jay B. Napanoy.

Their achievement reflects the innovative spirit, entrepreneurial potential, and determination of MPSU students as they continue to showcase their ideas and talents on a wider stage. It also highlights the University's commitment to advancing Quality Education, innovation, sustainable business practices, and inclusive economic growth.

Following the grand opening of the MPSU Intramurals 2026, the Cooking Committee stayed busy behind the scenes today, September 3, 2026, to support our student-athletes!

Working altogether with student volunteers from other department, our committee members cooked, and served snacks and lunch for our student-athletes to keep them fueled and energized for their matches.

The best part of the day was seeing our players rest, recharge, and enjoy their meals together before stepping back onto the court with full energy.

𝗠𝗣𝗦𝗨 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗦 𝗙𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗜𝗖𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 𝗕𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗦!

𝙅𝙋𝙄𝘼 – 𝙈𝙋𝙎𝙐 joined the entire university community today, September 3, 2026, as Mountain Province State University officially opened the 2026 Intramural Sports Fest!

With a theme of "𝘽𝙧𝙚𝙬𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚: 𝙄𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙞𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙮, 𝙒𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, and 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥," the day started with a parade across the streets of Bontoc, leading everyone to the Eyeb Covered Gym for the opening program. Together with our fellow accountancy, business and information technology students under Blazing Phoenix, the different team showed up with pride, energy, and strong team spirit.

The program includes the lighting of the urn, raising of team banners, bench yell competition, SAGALA and Indigenous sports. Followed by the oath of sportsmanship and oath of officiating officials. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the games officially began across all sports venues.

We wish all our student athletes the best of luck as the games continues until September 5, 2026.
