Gain hands-on skills in first aid, CPR, and AED use from certified Red Cross instructors and earn a nationally recognized certificate. Be equipped with the knowledge and confidence to save lives during emergencies.

A single blood donation can save up to three lives. Today, someone is waiting for the gift that only you can give.

The Philippine Red Cross – Mountain Province Chapter is calling on all eligible volunteer blood donors to help replenish our blood supply and ensure that patients in need receive lifesaving blood when every second counts.

If you are:
✔️ 18–65 years old
✔️ At least 50 kg
✔️ In good health

We encourage you to visit our Blood Service Facility and donate.

❤️🚑 SAFETY IN ACTION | Philippine Red Cross – Mountain Province Chapter Supports Project ISMERK Walk, Run, and Bike for a Cause

The Philippine Red Cross – Mountain Province Chapter proudly joined the Project ISMERK Walk, Run, and Bike for a Cause by providing first aid, emergency medical services, and humanitarian support throughout the event, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants from start to finish.

Our dedicated Red Cross volunteers remained on standby, ready to respond to any medical emergency while promoting a safe environment for everyone who took part in this meaningful activity.

More than providing emergency care, this event embodied the true spirit of humanity as the community came together in support of Mr. Eric S. Luyo in his courageous fight against cancer. We are honored to stand alongside our partners—the Mountain Province Police Provincial Office, Bontoc Municipal Police Station, Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Caluttit, and all stakeholders—in making this noble cause a safe and successful endeavor.

The Philippine Red Cross extends its sincere appreciation to all responders, volunteers, organizers, and participants whose compassion and cooperation made this activity possible.

🚑 Steering Communities Toward Resilience ❤️🤍

In observance of National Disaster Resilience Month 2026, the Philippine Red Cross – Mountain Province Chapter joined the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (PDRRMC), through the Office of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Officer (OPDRRMO), in the National Disaster Resilience Month Motorcade held on July 30, 2026.

The activity served as a united call to strengthen public awareness on disaster preparedness, promote a culture of safety, and encourage every individual to become an active partner in reducing disaster risks and protecting lives.

As an auxiliary to the government in humanitarian services, the Philippine Red Cross remains committed to empowering communities through preparedness, resilience, and volunteerism.

Together, let us build safer, stronger, and more disaster-resilient communities.

𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 – 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗴

The Philippine Red Cross – Mountain Province Chapter successfully conducted a Health Caravan on March 28, 2026, in the communities of Lias Silangan and Lias Kanluran, Barlig, Mountain Province, bringing essential healthcare services and health education closer to geographically isolated communities.

A total of 158 community members (63 males and 95 females) benefited from the caravan through the following services:

🩺 Health Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) on Preventive Nephrology and Hygiene Promotion, including the distribution of hygiene soaps, reaching 100 participants.

🩸 Health Services for 61 clients, which included medical consultation, urinalysis, blood typing, and random blood sugar testing to help promote early detection and prevention of diseases.

❤️ Hands-Only CPR Lecture and Demonstration attended by 26 participants, equipping community members with essential lifesaving skills that can make a difference during emergencies.

This humanitarian mission was carried out by 2 Philippine Red Cross staff and 2 RC143 Municipal-Based Volunteers, with the invaluable support of the Mountain Province Police Provincial Office, the Office of the Vice Governor, and the Maximo B. Dalog Foundation, Inc.

The Philippine Red Cross – Mountain Province Chapter extends its sincere gratitude to all partner agencies, volunteers, and the people of Barlig for their warm cooperation and unwavering support. Through collaborative efforts, we continue to uphold our commitment to promoting health, saving lives, and building resilient communities.

In celebration of National Blood Donors Month and National Disaster Resilience Month, the Philippine Red Cross – Mountain Province Chapter proudly recognised its valued blood donation partners during the Blood Donation Partners Awarding Ceremony held on 24 July 2026 at the Governor Leonard G. Mayaen Sports Center.

Guided by the theme, “Resilience in Unity: Celebrating Lifesavers and Strengthening Community Partnership,” the ceremony honoured local government units, health offices, organisations, institutions, and community partners whose unwavering commitment has strengthened the promotion of Voluntary Non-Remunerated Blood Donation (VNRBD) across Mountain Province.

These recognitions symbolise more than successful partnerships—they reflect a shared commitment to ensuring a safe, adequate, and sustainable blood supply for patients in need. Through the collective efforts of our partners, volunteers, and communities, countless lives have been given hope through the gift of blood.
