Baclayon is abundant with natural, cultural and historic treasures and it is the vision of the local government of Baclayon for the town to be an icon of eco-cultural tourism in the Philippines. Through developing and sharing these resources so that both locals and visitors can enjoy the natural and built environment alike, Baclayon can provide the protection they deserve, while benefiting the com

munity with sustainable socio- economic programs. The Baclayon Tourism Information and Activity Center, inaugurated in 2009, is a showcase for traditional Boholano architecture and craftsmanship with Buri weaving lined walls, and furniture made by local expert carpenters. The Center also offers clean and free washrooms, free WiFi, and unique Boholano souvenirs for purchase.
