Some legacies are not written in dates, but in the lives they shape! ⚜️

‎CBSAA stands today because one man believed that education could be a promise—one worth protecting, nurturing, and defending through every challenge. From that belief grew a community anchored in discipline, purpose, and hope.
‎
‎Fourteen years later, despite experiencing a tragic calamity, the halls of CBSAA echo with that exact promise. It lives in every lesson taught, every dream pursued, and every Paradigma who learns not only to excel, but to endure. This is the enduring mark of our founder, former Mayor Junie Martinez, a vision that did not fade with time, but found strength within it.

‎Founder’s Day is more than remembrance. It is a moment of quiet gratitude and renewed commitment. We honor the past not by looking back alone, but by choosing to uphold the values that built this Institution each and every day.

‎As one community, we move forward grounded in purpose, united by identity, and guided by a legacy that continues to light our way towards a better future.

SPIRIT OF SCOUTING | CHRISTMAS DONATION DRIVE

The CBSAA Garuga Floribunda BSP Unit, alongside the SSLG and CBSAA Lady Phoenix GSP Unit, helped lighten up the Christmas Spirit by sharing gifts towards ICON HOME Facility for Boys Orphanage at Purok San Jose, Sitio Dawis, Banban, Bogo City, Cebu.💙💚

As Scouts, we strive to be helpful, with the third point of the Scout Law "A Scout is Helpful" we celebrate the Christmas season, a time of profound blessing and joy, we are reminded that this donation drive is a way of sharing the light we’ve been.⚜️

This donation drive marks a new chapter in our year of service. What started as an urgent aid for the earthquake, then pivoted to typhoon relief, now finds its purpose in Christmas giving. Through crisis and celebration, we live by one rule: to be helpful and share our blessings.

Our mission evolves, but our principle remains: A Scout is Helpful. We stood with our community after the quake. We rallied again after the typhoon. Now, we turn to the Christmas season, transforming relief into joy through this donation drive.🫡

In moments of hardship, faith reminds us that we are called to help one another. The recent 6.9 magnitude earthquake in Northern Cebu has left many families in need — yet even in the face of loss, hope endures through the kindness we share.

As Scouts, we live by the law that “A Scout is Helpful.” Now is the time to embody that promise — to extend our hands, open our hearts, and serve our community with compassion.🫡

Every prayer, every peso, and every donation — whether in cash or in-kind — brings warmth and hope to those affected. 💙💚

NATIONAL SCOUTING MONTH

"The real way to gain happiness is to give it to others.” – ⚜️ Lord Robert Baden-Powell ⚜️

Over a century ago, Lord Baden-Powell founded the Scouting Movement with a vision — to build character, foster leadership, and teach young people the value of service and self-reliance. What began as a small camp on Brownsea Island has grown into a worldwide brotherhood and sisterhood of Scouts, bound by the same promise: to help others and make the world a better place.

This National Scouting Month, we carry forward that same spirit with the words:
“Molded by Discipline, Driven by Courage, Committed to Serve.” 🫡

Being a Scout means more than wearing a uniform — it’s about embodying the values of leadership, responsibility, and compassion in everyday life. Through countless experiences in the field, Scouts learn teamwork, resilience, problem-solving, and initiative — qualities that shape not just better Scouts, but better citizens and future leaders.

‎ During the Acquaintance Party of CBSAA took last July 11, 2025, The Garuga Floribunda Scouting Unit built a booth wherein the officers encouraged fellow ParaDigmas to register for our Organization, where they discussed what it's like being a scout and why do we have to participate in scouting.
‎
‎ Here in the Garuga Floribunda Scouting Unit, you're not just joining an organization you're becoming part of a brotherhood bound by service, shaped by honor. 🫡

Here, we build more than tents; we build character. Through community service, outdoor challenges, and teamwork, you’ll learn survival skills, leadership, discipline, and the true meaning of responsibility.💙💚

‎"We Born, We live, We die as Great scouts"

The CBSAA Garuga Floribunda Officers participated in pledging their commitment and to serve during the CBSAA Organizational Clubs Oath Taking last July 4, 2025. Then the Unit gathered to help do the aftercare of the General PTA Meeting by arranging chairs and returning equipment. 💙💚

The scouts showed that service doesn't end with an oath, but rather it begins with an action.🫡

Igniting the Spirit of Scouting for the Next Generation and Beyond

The Garuga Floribunda Scouts gathered one last time for the school year 2024-2025 to have a settlement meeting to appoint the next Future Pillars of the unit.⚜️

Held during the 4th of April at one of the Senior High School Rooms of CBSAA, the meeting shared laughs and joy through the brotherhood of each and every scout in the room.

As the school year 2024-2025 comes to an end, a new generation of Scouts will emerge, and the future Pillars will have to lead the charge towards a brighter future, igniting the spirit of Scouting for the Next Generation and Beyond.🫡

13th FOUNDING ANNIVERSARY

City of Bogo Science and Arts Academy held its Founder’s Day last Feb 5, 2024 to celebrate the birth of our CBSAA School Founder, Sir Celestino “Junie” Martinez Jr., the one who built the school with a vision to help the Bogohanons and can compete globally with their special skills and talents who have special skills in line with the Science and Arts Curriculum.

The CBSAA GARUGA FLORIBUNDA BSP SCOUTING UNIT together with the CBSAA LADY PHOENIX GSP UNIT greeted the Valued Guests at the Entrance Hallway, and joined together to help controlling the crowd during the event.

In honor of Sir Junie Martinez, the GARUGA SCOUT'S performed a Salute to tribute our founder, Sir Junie Martinez, for the legacy he built—his dedication to service, his passion for progress, and his unwavering love for the Bogohanons. Though he may have passed, his impact and vision continues to inspire us all.

With hearts full of devotion and hands ready to serve, the CBSAA GARUGA FLORIBUNDA SCOUTS earnestly took part in the celebration on January 17, 2025 in honor of Snr. Santo Niño. They helped prepare for the upcoming procession and Mass, further fostering the Scout Oath's Duty to God.🩵💚
