1st General Meeting | DYCI – Ministry of Altar Servers

On September 8, the DYCI – Ministry of Altar Servers held its 1st General Meeting virtually through Google Meet.

Despite the absence of some members, servers from both the Basic Education Department and the College Department were present and actively participated in the meeting.

The gathering began with a prayer, seeking the guidance of the Lord through the Holy Spirit. The servers then discussed important matters concerning the ministry and were reminded of the basics they need to observe before, during, and after the Holy Mass.

Although the meeting encountered some technical difficulties and delays, the servers persevered and successfully carried on with the discussion. Through the meeting, important matters were addressed that will help strengthen and guide the ministry in its service to the Church.

After everything was discussed, the meeting concluded with a prayer of thanksgiving, expressing gratitude to our Lord for His guidance, blessings, and presence throughout the gathering.

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
— Matthew 18:20

May we continue to serve with faith, humility, and dedication, always remembering that our service is ultimately for the greater glory of God.

Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!
To the Greater Glory of God!

"The Eucharist is my Highway to Heaven."

St. Carlo Acutis reminds us to 'come and see' the Lord who is 'the way, the truth, and the life' toward the Heavenly Banquet.

DYCI invites you all to come and celebrate the Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist, the source and summit of our Christian life and journey.

See you in our Eucharistic celebrations, DYCIans!

We at the Mission and Values Office celebrate the birth anniversary of our dear School President, Sir Kel Yanga. 🎉

Your leadership and deep spirituality continue to inspire all of us in the Mission and Values Office. Through your dedication, guidance, and commitment to the mission of formation, you remind us of the importance of serving with faith, humility, and purpose. Your example encourages us to live out our vocation with greater passion and to always place God at the center of our work and service.

May the Lord continue to guide and strengthen you in your vocation, filling your life with wisdom, joy, and good health. May He bless you abundantly as you continue to inspire others and lead many closer to Him through your ministry and leadership.

God bless you always, and may this new year of life bring you even more grace and blessings. 🙏

As we come together in prayer through Google Meet with the Ministry of Altar Servers, Friends in Christ Community, and Verbum Domini, we take this moment of reflection and devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, offering our intentions for all students.

Today, we lift our hearts to the Lord and offer our prayers for the victims of Typhoon Uwan — for those who suffer and are affected by its devastation. May God grant them strength, comfort, and hope.

Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, may the Lord show His mercy upon us, guide us always, and keep us safe from all harm.

St. Carlo Acutis, pray for us.
St. Martin of Tours, pray for us.
Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us.
Sacred heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

As we end the month of the Holy Rosary, the DYCIans from the Friends in Christ Community, the Ministry of Altar Servers, and Verbum Domini lift their hearts in gratitude for the days spent in prayer and reflection — from October 1 to 31.

Each bead we held, each mystery we pondered, became an offering of love and faith — a gentle echo of our devotion to the Blessed Mother who leads us closer to her Son.

May this month’s prayerful journey remind us that the Rosary is not just for October, but a lifelong path of grace, protection, and communion with God.
