Last 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟓, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, 𝐻𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑦𝑎’𝑡 𝐺𝑎𝑤𝑎 was blessed with the privilege of visiting the colorful and friendly people of, 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐓𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐤, 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐜, 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐪𝐮𝐞, bringing 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑟𝑒𝑑 ℎ𝑜𝑝𝑒, 𝑗𝑜𝑦, and 𝑖𝑛𝑠𝑝𝑖𝑟𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 to the youth and children of the community. 💗💗💗
The outreach began with a solemn 𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑝𝑟𝑎𝑦𝑒𝑟, grounding everyone in gratitude and a reminder of what the gathering was all about — 𝑡𝑜 𝑔𝑖𝑣𝑒, 𝑡𝑜 𝑠𝑒𝑟𝑣𝑒, and 𝑡𝑜 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑢𝑛𝑐𝑜𝑛𝑑𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑎𝑙𝑙𝑦.
This was followed by a lighthearted 𝑘𝑢𝑚𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑎ℎ𝑎𝑛, a time to connect, laugh, and break the ice — allowing the children and youth to feel at ease with the presence of new faces and new friends. 🤗✨
We then joyfully introduced the passionate and dedicated 𝐴𝑡𝑒𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐾𝑢𝑦𝑎𝑠 from Haraya’t Gawa. As these volunteers came not only with supplies, but also with open arms and listening ears — ready to create memories. 📚💞
A heartwarming moment came during the 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 of “𝑃𝑎𝑝𝑎𝑠𝑜𝑘 𝑛𝑎 𝐾𝑎𝑚𝑖 𝑛𝑖 𝑁𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑦 𝑠𝑎 𝑃𝑎𝑎𝑟𝑎𝑙𝑎𝑛”, led by the ever-enthusiastic 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝘂ñ𝗮𝗴. Though the session was cut short by an unforeseen mass, it became a 𝑏𝑙𝑒𝑠𝑠𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑖𝑛 𝑑𝑖𝑠𝑔𝑢𝑖𝑠𝑒, as the children were able to participate in something spiritually meaningful, bringing a deeper sense of community and reflection. ⛪✨
After the mass, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the 𝐴𝑡𝑒𝑠 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐾𝑢𝑦𝑎𝑠 led a lively game! 🥳 Laughter echoed through the barangay covered court as the children enjoyed every moment — proving that even simple joys can leave the brightest memories. 🎉
To keep their spirits high and tummies happy, Haraya’t Gawa shared snacks like 𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐬, 𝐣𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐞, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬, bringing small delights to their busy games. 🧃🍪🍬 Winners of the games were also awarded with fun prizes like 𝐛𝐚𝐠𝐬, 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨𝐲𝐬, and 𝐭𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 wherein this served as a little tokens that we hope will remind them they are seen, heard, and celebrated. 🎁🎒🧸
And of course, the most anticipated moment arrived — the distribution of school supplies and pre-love clothes. Smiles widened as children received essentials that will accompany them in their educational journey and daily lives. These items may seem small, but for many, they’re stepping stones to bigger dreams. 📝🎒👕
To end the day, a 𝑑𝑟𝑎𝑤𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎𝑐𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑡𝑦 was held, giving the children an opportunity to pour their hearts onto paper. With each crayon stroke, they dreamed, they expressed, they believed and that’s the kind of hope we strive to ignite and spark within them. 🎨🌈
